I hope this isn't on the wrong section

Hi you all. Like 1 month ago or something, I was playing SSB43DS (Demo) and after the first seconds of the match, the whole console froze. The only thing that I could do at the moment was force the 3DS to turn off (pressing the power button). The console turned on like nothing happened and I started Smash again, same error. This time, when I tried to turn on the console, there wasn't blacklight (both screens), not sound and not even the 3D led.
I guess the console can't load the SO or something... The blue led it's on, but that's all. I've tried to remove the battery, to run out the battery, but still the same when I turn it on.
Is there anything I can do or should I start to used as a nice paperweight?
The warranty expired, btw.
Thank you so much for you time!

Have you tried to remove the SD card to see if that's the problem?

Also, information: are you using your 3DS with a Gateway? emuNAND? No Gateway and up to date firmware?

I had a problem with the SSB demo, gave me the blue screen of death, luckily everything was fine after a restart.
If you're desperate, you can have a NAND mod installed and mess around in there to get it fixed. I guess you could try starting without an sd or with a different sd.

It has the latest firmware and nope, I don't use/have Gateway or didn't mess with the nand or anything.
And yes, I removed the SD and the DS cartridge (Trauma Center was on the consola at the time).

there a hidden boot mode you can do with the 3ds
when turning the 3ds on hold L+R+A+UP
to boot into system update mode

see if that can help

There's also a boot combination that will boot into a calibration screen, google it.
Edit: it's L+R+x

The update mode was the first thing I did time ago, but I didn't knew about the calibration one. Stil, didn't work, sigh.

Was that an ambassador 3ds? My ambassador 3ds died exactly the same. Sent to it to ninty and they said CPU was fried.

I tried button combo for Update (I remember it updated fine), Calibration system, and even if you press the power button like 2-3 seconds it will throw you the "system sleep mode" screen that emerges when you either close a game, or press the power button accidentally. After that it froze on the home menu transition animation.

Long story short, ambassador 3ds are made of ****.

If you're willing to open the console up, it's worth removing and re-seating the WiFi card. If I remember correctly though, when the WiFi card is disconnected the backlight does usually come on, though the screens won't display any image.

My ambassador holds up fine, except for a scary blue screen BOOTROM 8046 ERROR I got with the smash bros demo, thankfully there was no permanent damage.

I sent the 3DS 2 days ago to an store to see if the could fix it, but the coulnd't. Seems like there is a problem with the motherboard.
Anyway, thank you so much for the help! I guess I could sell the screens and all those tings on ebay or something.
