You can manipulate save files more easily. Plus good SD is cheaper than good microSD.

When the other regions come out, you can just extract the save with SaveDataFiler and inject it into the correct region's rom, then everything will work with the patches

Well, we dont know for sure if the save is going to be compatible between regions and the EUR and USA dumps are going to be released in just a few days anyway.

Persona Q US was out 10 days before release date or on the 15th Nov. If you're using Gateway and playing the Japanese ROM, installing the Japanese cia update is freaking easy. If you don't want to, just wait 1 day for the US one to come out.

SaveDataFiler failed to work with GW Pokemon X save for me. Some people reported that it works, but in my case, SaveDataFiler just sees a corrupt save.

Screw it, I'm going to play with the JPN rom !
Because I did test something which is nice :
I downloaded the JPN pokemon Y, it did not had a ver. number. I then installed the update from the eshop (I don't have a JPN 3ds of course) and the game went fine to ver. 1.3.
The new ones looks realy like these, having the same selection language thing at startup, so I guess it'll probably works the same way.

Basicaly, yes. The rom was dumped by Kirin, file name is kirin-pmyj.3ds
The game asked me to update, I clicked that button, downloaded the update, and the game said ver. 1.3 after being restarted.

Guys what chip manufacturer should I set ? (Yep I could go with CIA, but I can't manage to do a working CIA... So I'll just go with the rom on gateway uSD)
I don't want to go with trial & error which may have me to restart the game a few times. I'm using header from my own AC:NL so not a public one.

EDIT : Tried one (Macronix) but then the rom wont start gateway menu says Invalid 3DZ.
Seriously, will I be able to play with a online ready rom at somepoint ? :\
