Anyone familiar with the way 3DS files are sorted on the SD card?

Those are the files I recovered from a corrupted SD. Is there any way to convert them back to a usable format?

can someone direct me to a eu save for fantasy life vanila game with the story complete, i still cant find my own cart

The game isn't saved on the cartridge, but on the 3DS SD card. As such, it is also encrypted with the console-unique key. This means that saves cannot be exchanged between systems and a download for a Fantasy Life save doesn't exist.
The good news is that you don't lose your save even if you lose the cartridge, as long as you play on the same 3DS. The bad news is the inability to exchange saves.

When I start it on the dsi it works flawlessly, but when I start it on the 3ds (it's 4.5 btw) it crashs. On the website it's written that it supports 3ds version 6.x . Any help about updating it?

Hmm, are you talking about the r4i3ds or r4i3d? It's easy to get confused with these clones, the last "s" there means they are 2 different products. While the former seems to have been discontinued, the latter is still providing updates. If yours is the r4i3d (no s) go to their website, you should have access to their latest kernel (I have this card and although some games crash, it works). Now, if you really are talking about the r4i3ds, although they have a website up, I doubt you'll get an updated kernel. Also, give us more details, what year/model is your flashcart? These brands are known for discontinuing support to older versions.

I'd also like to ask for some help here, I'm thinking of looking for a trade-in for the new 3ds (in case Ninty offers one in my country). I have recently bought a 3ds and my GW cart is on its way, I'd like to ask if Nintendo would notice the blue card modification to the exploit and if there's a way to remove it. Simply updating my system should do it, right?

swordlord mine is an original one, checked on the website (btw is the 3DS version, not the 3D one).
I tried to check which version my r4 supports now, and I've found that it supports right now the fw 4.4 (arg).
I think I'm going to look for another 3ds-compatible flashcart :T

I can't post the website here, but yours is the one with the Chinese language link on top, right? I guess mine's the clone then. My 3ds is 4.2, it would run your cart. I'd trade my cart with you if we lived near each other :c

But yeah, these brands are all like that, they discontinue support to make us buy new versions/clones. They say the DSTWO is the way to go for DS roms, it may be expensive but you won't have to worry about getting a new one every year.

swordlord Thanks a lot for your help! I think I'm going for the DSTWO, since it has a lot emulators and their support seems pretty nice. Also I bought my cart in a hurry, so I deserve to buy another cart (I mean, I searched for a 3ds flashcart a few ago, and that was the only one I found, so I bought it without thinking too much).

Okay small problem, I'm trying to get my Shiny Gengar on Pokemon Y, I have the code. I have PAL version of Pokemon Y, it's been updated to 1.3. I'm getting Error Code 002-0123 when trying to do it with mystery gift, it says I cannot use online services with this game card.

I thought you could go online with Gateway? Do I need to do something special? I'm on the latest Emunand and Gateway 2.5

Hello guys
I decided to ask here instead of opening a new thread for this single question, so her we go:

I have two 3DS 4.5, one US and another EUR. I started playing the Fantasy Life EUR ROM on my US console some time ago. Now that I've pretty much ended the game (65 hours of gameplay), at least the main story I decided to take my savefile and play the same ROM on my EUR game so I can buy the DLC. Guess what?! The console didn't recognize the savefile. The ROM is exactly the same with the same header. One thing I have to mention is that I accessed the ingame feature to buy the DLC and it did something to my SD Card.

So my question is: will this savefile for the EUR game created on my US console ever work in my EUR console?

Am I right in saying that it is impossible to have both the Gateway EmuNAND and CFW CIA installed at the same time? I already have a Gateway running 9.2 EmuNAND and don't feel like giving that up.

Just use a different SD card for it. Its not possible to have your emunand and cfw partition at the same time, but switching (big) SD card is as easy as switching game card.

edit: you might want to use a GW-loader compatible cfw-launcher.dat

I'm afraid you cannot have both. The GW Launcher is "incompatible" with this CFW. Did you pay attention to the supplied Launcher

Q1: no nothing confirmed for 3ds, only NDS mode flashcards (no, 3DS roms wont work)
Q2: DSTWO is the best NDS mode flashcard.
