Sometimes it freezes, just try again. And yes, set up internet settings before making a nand backup.

Let's cry all together because they didn't want to public release this. All we know the most important thing of the scene is the feelings of the sceners, but not useful tools for the end user.

I was able to write the NAND to SD using HxD, but it was a little more effort than a single copy-paste. Opened the NAND.BIN, opened the physical drive, copied the first 25000000bytes to 0x200 (trying to copy much more than that caused an out-of-memory crash), saved it, closed and reopened, copied from 0x25000000 to the end from NAND.BIN to the SD card at 0x25000200 where the previous copy paste ended, saved and closed. Worded this pretty badly, but hopefully it conveys what I did well enough. Or you could use that Java script that got pasted a few pages back.

If you couldnt care less why is every other post of you proclaiming gateway is fucked and gateway fanboys mad because they wasted X amount $ on a useless device now?

The fact of the matter is that this thing is extremely buggy and incomplete, not only is it a complete pain to even get running but the people who have the knowledge to fix it and add new features will not touch it and most likely leave the scene now because it was stolen then leaked, its even possible ssspwn wont be released because of this (im not exactly seeing anything that says its wont right now though)

And that would mean that the 3DS hacking scene would become even more useless.

Seriously, now after I install the CIA with the CMD tool, it doesn't appear one the 3DS.

Here is what ther CMD says :

You gotta restart your 3DS, and then start the launcher.dat again without holding L.

Idk if the 3DS scene will be the same after today, but things just got a little interesting
And, for the dudes that made this CFW and got their work stolen (so sorry for you guys ):
I dont know if you ever intended to release anything for us, end users, but dont get pissed just because something (that looks old) got leaked
Use this to embrace the end users (not just the "right devs") and not to get even more closed to yourself
Idk but i think the way smea looks and act in the 3DS scene seems more "solid" than the rest of the "devs" in this scene

I'm so looking foward to what's gonna happen after this

Dunno then. I do know that this program is incredibly buggy and almost useless in it's current state. Might wanna wait for someone else here to fix it up a bit. We do have the decompiled source, so it shouldn't be a rough task for people with the right knowledge.

I wouldn't so sure after that, given the amount of, love, emanating from these threads today, that anything will be further worked on and people that will end up ragequitting the hacking scene after today.....yeah.....
