Hi!

I need some help. I just bought my Powersave so I can share the pokemon event to my local community's Pokémon players, but I just realized that for wondercards it needs stable internet connection. Is there any way to use the powersave offline?

Not for Pokemon and performing any save edits. It has to have an internet connection.

How stabil connection needed? If I share my mobile phone's 3G internet should be that enough? It's slow and has a possible chance of disconnect. Would it cause harm if it disconnects while editing the save file?

You need an internet connection because in order to correctly edit the save, you need Datel's server to decrypt and encrypt the information. If it disconnects while writing your save to the cart, you could irreparably damage your cart. If your 3G is unstable, I would not suggest using it as your relay.

Thank you very much for the answers.

Yes its unfortunate that its network dependent but you have to understand why. You are sending your gamesave file to a hacked 3DS remotely so it is able to be decrypted, edited, and reencrypted. Whether you may like this or not I find this to be a better alternative for simplistic users that dont have to mod their own 3DSes to enjoy cheating. Even if you used cyber gadget save editor it would still require you to have a network connection to send your save file cause again, your sending it to a hacked 3DS so in turn you dont have to mod yours.

Its both a positive and a negative depending how you see it.

I understand, but I still don't like it. I wanted to grant the event pokemons for other players from my country since we are not nintendo supported. But the meetings are in public places which don't have stable internet connection, so it makes it impossible. Well, I still have other methods(like trading), which would be safer, but harder to distribute. But thanks for answering.

Datel gets weirder with each code released I swear.

there's also a max tool item code, which i'm not sure if it was there before, but it gives you x999 of most items in the game. there's these things called bridge mail that kinda interested me, i'm not sure on what they're supposed to do :s

Now that better then before right now I can't mine powersave to load unless it's my side or their side

Look like powersave is down the site for now I went to see if I go to the site and no luck it look like it is Down due to the weather issue. Any one sle can go see if they can access the site

I do have a question, but would I able to use this device for the same game, but different game cards? I'm curious since I tested out on my little brother's New Leaf and I read someone had their pokemon data deleted when he used his friend's Powersave Pro.

I just bought one of these and of course the servers are down right now...

Does anyone know whether for custom mode the Powersaves application receives a decrypted version of the save from Datel's servers, applies patches on your machine for the cheats you selected, then re-uploads and downloads for re-encryption and signing? Or does the PC-side client application merely select which custom cheats to apply, never seeing the decrypted data nor the raw patches to make, as if the process were entirely a black box?

I could find out myself, but if it's just a thin client talking to a black box, I'd be wasting my time reverse engineering it if someone else already has.

I finally could use my new Powersaves after the servers came back online, and I have a question...

Does anyone know why the POWERSAVES tab is empty with a red exclamation mark (like in the screenshot posted above)... but the other tabs and features work correctly? I tested it with my Pokemon X cart by adding the Torchic Wondercard (my previous cart was stolen so in this save I didn't have it) and everything worked fine.
