So there is a rumor started by a twitter guy who has proven correct in the past that indeed a new HD remastered game is coming in case no one mentioned it.

Yeah, I heard about this. But as per usual, Nintendo is being coy. This doesn't work - people just get pissed off because they want specifics because many are complaining about the lack of games for the Wii U (I'm quite happy ATM but I'm catching up).

Still, I would like to know what I'm waiting for, hurry up FFS Nintendo. And confirm or deny this MM3D stuff from Target in Canada.

Mario vs Donkey Kong, not the 'minis' version that's due on the WiiU e-shop next year but the original Gameboy one.

You mean From: http://gbatemp.net/threads/i-think-...ly-confirmed-majoras-mask-for-the-3ds.368831/ correct?

Anyways, if I wanted a remake, I'd like to see Final Fantasy 6 get a proper remake. The PS1 version upped the ante with some FMVs, but when they did the recent mobile re-release, it looked like someone just remade the game in RPG Maker. I'd like to see a complete remake of the game in the same style FFIV DS was made. Complete with 3D models and a completely remastered soundtrack with the option of the SNES soundtrack alongside.

For majora's mask, I want a master quest that might completely drain my brain(lol)
And perhaps you could hold a fans project on kickstarted, I will pledge $200(lol), and you could just stole the sound track from mobile remake, and remember to do the voice(I think ff4 ds style are great), and remember to add a EXP-free mode with AP and money multiplier bigger than 2

Id love to see Eternal Darkness remade. That game was fantastic, a real gem on an underappreciated system.

To this Majora's Mask remake bullshit:

I can go to my work place right now and make a tag and entry in our sales system for "Majora's Mask 3D". And I work at a fucking grocery store.

No one's going to make a tag and entry for a game that hasn't even been released, let alone announced.

Majora's Mask because I haven't played that game yet. LOL!

Seriously, play it. In my personal opinion (which most people don't tend to agree with, ever) it's almost as good as Ocarina of Time. That's if you get over the recurring death theme.

Not so much a remake as a new installment in the series... namely Advance Wars U, or however you'd like to name it. 3D "cinematics" of the on-going battle on the TV, classic 2D strategic map on the gamepad, game almost fully controlled with the touchscreen and probably fun as all hell. Of course that makes too much sense, so it will probably never happen.

I hope not. I thought Ocarina was boring...I don't believe it has aged well. I am just starting Majora's mask.

Skyward Sword is my favorite 3D zeldz.

IT could just be my terrible taste, but SS was one of my least favourites. The whole plot seemed so forced. With OOT, it all fell into place and made complete sense (as much as a zelda game makes sense) but SS was all over the place for me. Still a zelda game and like all zelda games, still good although one of the weaker ones IMO.

Although my favorite Nintendo game is SM64 it already received a port/remake on DS, so it wouldn't make sense having a remake of it so soon.
For me Super Mario Bros 3 or Super Mario World should be the next ones to receive a remake.
The best we're having in terms of 2D Mario is the NSMB games, they lack innovation and none have gotten to the same level SMW and SMB3 have gotten.
It's obvious how different Nintendo treats their 2D and 3D Marios.
Bringing a classic, with new and updated graphics would certainly be a hit and would probably make Nintendo to take a better care with the 2D Marios.

The plot of a Zelda game is about as important to me as it is in a Mario game. I enjoyed skyward sword because of the constant challenge and puzzle solving even in the overworld and the best combat system and the best dungeon design. The beetle also is probably the single coolest item in a zelda game.

The time traveling in ocarina actually makes no sense as far as time travel stories IMO....its just a plot device to explain the common dual world theme in games since ALttP
