Then, of course, Tumblr got their hands on it and it became pretty much exactly how you described it. You don't like something? It made you mildly uncomfortable? Well, obviously, you were triggered, and your little problems are obviously on par with veterans and rape victims.

These people are trying to put "trigger warnings" on everything on the offchance that someone might be even mildly offensive. There's a serious push in some universities for professors to provide "trigger warnings" for their courses and, worse, classic literature.

I once did a reverse forensic engineering course and they warned me ahead of time that there would be pictures of blood and such (part of it was analysis of a ladder accident and it included scene photos).
