Hello, I am new to this community fellow members. I joined this forum to ask a question about solving this issue with DVD+R discs not working on neogamma and fixing it by changing booktype. I have figured what to use and do to change the booktype or as some of you may recognize it, Bitsetting, anyways I cannot seem to be able to change it with ImgBurn or Nero CD DVD Speed (CDSpeed.exe). This is a big problem for me. I just been delivered by Amazon a 15-pack DVD+R spindle. It was a really great price. No regrets when received. But now I seem to regret it. I recently found out my drive is Hitachi and folks were saying Hitachi does not support changing booktypes. As an owner of a hacked wii which I use mostly for NES, SNES N64 and Gamecube games, I strongly believe there is a way to solve this issue.
So my drive is booktype setting DVD+R, Hitachi HL-DT-ST DVD+-RW GT60N A101 (SATA).
If you fellow members can help solve this issue with a firm concrete answer, I thank you very much.
God has not made geniuses for nothing.

Users don't read it because you used a strange font and color, it's hard to read.

Not all burner can edit booktype.
Yours can't, that's all.

You have two solutions :
- Use DVD-R
- use External device with ISO (USBLoaders)

store personal data for your computer (keep your photos, or anything you want. if the DVDs are good product, it should last at least 10 years.), or videos (media player should work fine with +R).
having available storage media is always useful. You don't know when you'll need it.
If you don't have anything to burn, then give them to a friend who need it.

I don't know. I don't remember which program I used to check the compatible drives so you will have to test if your drive is compatible.

Some drives don't allow users to choose the booktype, but automatically edit +RW to something -ROM.
