Hardware Vita Slim first impressions

So, I just got my Vita Slim and let me tell you... if a man put a gun to my mother's head, demanding me to put on a screen protector properly with no air bubbles or debris trapped inside, I'd say "It was nice knowing you, mom."

there are a lot of videos on youtube showing how to properly do that
and in this case....the most of them works

and let's say it...the 3ds screen protect is a tough one...you got one shot and if it fails you can either got used to it or risk damaging the console trying to take it out

Okay, so the Vita Slim's screen is beautiful, and I'm so glad that it is. Those comparison videos are nagging at me for a while, but I can honestly say that Persona 4 Golden looks amazing.

Is the screen interfaces in the Vita Slim identical to that in the original Vita such that an end user could buy a Vita Slim and swap the LCD screen with the original OLED one?

As someone who was very iffy on buying the new model, I can safely say the screen looks great. I've only played one game (P4G), but it looks amazing. Don't let those people who were talking about the screen sucking bring you down; they probably never even seen one in real life. I do have some gripes with the console, but they're gripes about the Vita in general, not Slim-specific.

Of course, if you already have the original model, there's no reason to replace it unless it's in bad shape.
