There is a WWE 13 game save I downloaded from here. I want to use this save on my Wii but I don't know how to do it? Can someone help? There is a banner.bin and .dat file that I don't know what to do with. I have the USA version of the game.

From the videos I've seen on Dolphin dumping the data you'd have to add the game to Dolphin's list. Wouldn't you have to run the game as well to create a save file just like on the real Wii? My laptop is too old/weak to run Dolphin. Can't I just convert those save files I downloaded to a data.bin for the Wii?

Save game manager homebrew have a completely different format for backing up and restoring data than the usual Wii system sub-menu. I don't know how either relates to the way Dolphin does it though!

Save game manager backup/install save data directly into the corresponding place in the NAND.
That's why a SGM dumped save data is stored in a 16-digit folder named XXXXXXXXYYYYYYYY.
This means this save data is extracted from NAND:/title/XXXXXXXX/YYYYYYYY.
XXXXXXXX may be different depending on if the game is a Wii Shop Channel download(Legit downloaded or pirated), or a Disk based game, while YYYYYYYY is the game's ID4 ASCII in hex.
Dolphin's user/Wii directory is the same as that of a Wii's NAND. If you extract a bootmii dump by Showmiiwads, it will show almost the same as Dolphin's Wii Directory.

As for the Wii sub-menu backup, it encrypts the data in NAND:/title/XXXXXXXX/YYYYYYYY, and store it under SD:/private/wii/title/AAAA/data.bin, when AAAA is the game's ID4.
I do not know which kind of encryption it belongs to.
Some save data cannot be copied (Like Mario Kart Wii and SSBB)by the official method because all of the data is stored under NAND:/title/XXXXXXXX/YYYYYYYY/nocopy.
Some games have data that can be partially copied(Like Battalion wars and Mario Strikers Charged), have some data stored under the directory NAND:/title/XXXXXXXX/YYYYYYYY/nocopy.

What? I've copied an MKWii save before. At least I think so. Either that or I used an unlock everything code...but anyway does what you've posted above mean I can just grab the folder from nand and zip the contents of it up, rename it data.bin, and put in the appropriate folder of the SD card? Idky the files in the OP have those name extensions.

You can't just zip the files, they use their own encryption that only the Wii (and now Dolphin and SGM gx) could pack and unpack.
If you pack it via dolphin, it is possible. However it is not nessesary since dolphin already puts the save data.bin under the correct directory for you.

from your youtube download ....put the banner.bin and SVR13ALL.dat in the nand save folder your using for dolphin here:
\title\00010000\53335845\data
16276a0.png

lead dolphin to the iso

10z1kxx.png

rite click on the game and select export to wii

9ih3rq.png

you will find the converted save in the folder the Dolphin WiiEmulator is installed in @
\private\wii\title\S3XE\Data.bin

(i already did this to convert the save using Dolphin 4.0-722 not the Dolphin3.0-721 from the pics and uploaded it here if your too lazy to make your own)

copy proper folder directory to the private folder of your wii sd card,

use save game manager to copy save to nand if saves don't copy you'll need to enable copy protected saves via preloader hacks or whatever

I can also confirm that it is possible to use dolphin saves on the wii. I regularly transfer saves back and forth from my wii to my computer to play animal crossing and MH3. Works great!

Edit: sorry if for some reason my post has nothing to do with this thread. To be honest, I didn't read it. I just wanted to give you hope that it may be possible for you.

Thanks very much! Do I have to have the iso in Dolphin to do this? I have it on my usb hard drive already in wbfs format.

Cool thanks. I found something new (well new to me). It's a WWE 2k14 Mod patch for the Wii version of WWE 13. I followed the same steps you provided however when I go to copy the save game I get a message that the save may not have copied to the Wii and low and behold the save did not copy to the Wii. Here is a link to it. Can you try and see if it works for you?

I get syntax error expected version before 'n' @ line 2. Do you have a working hacks file? I'm on priiloader v0.7 and SysMenu 4.3

EDIT: I fixed the hacks issue and was able to enable the copy protection disabler but I still get the same message of the data may not have been copied.

Now that I think about it, that makes sense because WWE '13 does not have a NAND-based type save like SSBB. So the no copy thing shouldn't make a difference.
