Yeah ! It's true, i'm developer:P

A brazilian developer! ^^

Best way to find out would be asking him for details. His english does not seem to be the best though. I would ask him myself, but I don't have a 3DS exploit so I am not that intetested.

Send me a PM and i know, i'm not good in english :c

I don't get it, whats so new about it, you can use Snes games on 3DS anyway, all you need is a DSTwo Supercard and away you go also Nes/Genesis roms etc.. to boot, so the point of this is..?

How do know he might even be using one to boot snes games, we don't know we don't see the bottom screen in the clip when he boots up!

This is native 3DS homebrew, not DS homebrew on a 3DS. Anyways, read the 3DS homebrew progress thread linked earlier in this page. Its legit, and this is awesome, because we may soon see better emulation than the DS flash carts allowed, as well as the ability to use the entirety of the top screen instead of being limited to the DS dimensions. And heck maybe in the future, 3DS homebrew will allow for emulation of NES, SNES, etc. games in stereoscopic 3D like the few 3D classics officially released.

I don't really see what is so great and exciting about it, I mean I'm not knocking the bloke but its nothing really original or new! also he does use the top screen only, exactly the same as the DSTwo and its the same dimensions as the DSTwo emulator not the full screen.

I hate that kind of thinking.

But if a SNES emulator does come out for 3DS. It will run better and actually support the resolution of the SNES game.

3DS is a more powerful machine than the DS. The DS has issues with some SNES and GBA game emulation. Furthermore none of the DS emulators can take up the full top screen of the 3DS, the 3DS emulators will certainly allow for this.

Then there is the thought that in the future, 3DS homebrew may allow for emulation of NES, SNES, etc. games in stereoscopic 3D like the few 3D classics officially released.

And then of course we come to the thought of what other emulators will the 3DS be capable of playing, that the DS certainly couldn't tackle. Maybe a few PS1 and N64 games will be able to be emulated at decent speeds on the 3DS.

I don't know how you can't find that exciting.

Are you even reading what we are saying? Your SNES emulator will not allow for the full top screen to be your screen, and is instead restricted to the dimensions of DS games on the 3DS. A natively 3DS running SNES, GBA, etc. emulator will allow for the full top screen to be utilized. This means a bigger screen, this is interesting. Furthermore, the DS emulation of SNES and GBA games were not perfect, the 3DS would likely be far better at emulation given that it is a more powerful machine. Stereoscopic 3D gameplay may very well be a future feature for all roms for these emulators too. (Think the 3D classics Kirbys Adventure or the 3D Genesis Sonic games, as great examples of what this could mean for ALL of your oldschool games). Then of course the implications for other emulators we never saw on the DS and never will, it likely could handle emulating some PS1 and N64 games. Plus we could see a Virtual Boy emulator that allows us to experience the few great tiles on that system in stereoscopic 3D without having to put your eyes up to that ridiculous old red machine.

Hey! Just want to send you a congratulations from Brazil, Good luck with it! :D
(Shame I don't have an exploit-able 3DS to test it)

The point is: We will be able to use 3DS's full hardware, which is more powerful than the DSTWO's one. That means we will be able to get a better SNES/NES/MD/etc emulators and we will be able to use the 3D effect on old games like the 3DS classics from eShop or a Virtual Boy emulator with without-glasses 3D. ;)
