To give a better answer, I've just looked over 2 decrypted saves and compared them.. this is just speculation, but it looks as if the default serena/calem clothes that you get at the beginning is ID 0x00.. and its usually standard practice in game design to assign that to whatever the default is.. so if there was a no hats option, it'd be 0x00.. i mean think how silly it would be otherwise.
So I'm gonna say no on this one.

Sorry to keep asking random questions/posts ;~; but if we have figured out how to decrypt/re-encrypt the AES key to our saves, would we be able to to add custom pokemon into our boxes, sorta like PKHeX?

5. resign
6. re-encrypt
7. success!

we're only up to step 4.. step 5 and on require knowledge of the AES engine.
