Am I the only person who finds it somewhat ominous that the name of the beta software is "Omega" which in bliblical terms, and ancient greek alphabet terms, means "the end"?
Perhaps it's meant to say "This is the end for our competition!", or something like that. There's no need to read into it so much though, if it's going to be the last update, so be it, if not, great as well. We have little control of that, so why worry?

Do I need Blue GW Card anywhere? I have lost it unfortunately.

What do you use for downloading games?
1. Format to exFAT and simple drag drop
OR
2. Something other.

Yeah, you need the blue card or any other ds flash card that works on your 3ds console.

Also, it's just like you said. Format to exFAT then drag and drop.

Answer is 1. Just drop .3ds images on the formatted card.

You only need the blue card if the exploit isn't installed. I just swapped the launcher and was on my way.

"Omega" as in the last beta. Food for thought.

You only need the Blue Card to install the exploit, if you don't plan to ever play any DS games then there shouldn't be any problems.

Any DS Flashcart will work fine though if you want one. Just need the Gateway NDS file.

If you have the exploit installed, the installer has not changed whatsoever, so just do not touch any DS-related settings or DS Download Play and you'll be fine just by swapping the Launcher.dat . As for game management, you can format to either exFAT (4gb+ support) or FAT32 (requires splitting for >4gb games) and just drag-and-drop -- just use exFAT, there's no disadvantage in this situation. Flashing a single ROM with an imager still works, though obviously that's a bit outdated now.

then which formatt is better? FAT32 or exFAT?

exFAT has a 2TB (much, much larger than 4GB) size limitation and has faster read access -- the only advantage in FAT32 is for portable storage and its near-universal compatibility, since you're only using the MicroSD card for Gateway (supposedly?) just use exFAT.

I updated pokemon with emuNAND 7.1.0-15U to ver. 1.2 and then created a save using emuNAND classic mode

Hmm in that case it probably means that Gateway handles saves differently from the regular system, so sadly dumped saves won't be compatible with Gateway.

ok, but is there any way to transfer the save from my retail cartridge into the dumped rom without corrupting it?

Mine was a direct dump of my retail cartridge with a 4.X KeyY save, and it showed up as corrupted. Not sure if these are isolated incidents, but it might be likely you'll have to erase the ROM's save.

I already tested and no, it is an issue of Gateway and other flashcards, nothing related to public/own dumps of the games.
oh no i seen you mentioned it didnt work, i mean they mention they have future plans that would require more exact dumps....sounds like online play to me

uploaded an initial demo video.....although everyone has the beta now...didn't show any roms as i think that might be why my last video got took down, but figured those who aren't jumping on board just yet, might want to see how it works etc
