it's a figure of speech, a takedown order, whatever you want to call it...
I've published the email in the first post, what else do you need?

Well, I guess he would be the one to go to court, so he has the right of being afraid of this.
does respecting the law count as being afraid?

some people in this thread, I swear...

I didn't mean it as an act of cowardice... jeez... something must be wrong with my English... The point is that the consequences for hosting the files may not be as big as we thing, but I respect the decision you made.

Don't understand why this deserves a sticky... Plenty of ways to get gateway firmware via the official site, so who cares about this mirror? No one.

It is less to mention that it happened and more to let people know that they can not use GBAtemp/filetrip for it.

Did you try Mega.co.nz link? Its very good and I liked it. It wont deleted the files even over a year or so that I have tried. :)

Didn't we also get a take down notice for the R4i Gold Deluxe files?
Maybe we should just turn this thread into the list of 3DS files we can't host because most likely all the 3DS flashcards current and future will be using the same/similar code until someone makes a non-copyrighted homebrew code that works the same way and can be posted.
