There are some games that are only available for certain regions.

1. There are games in Europe not available here.
2. There are games in Japan not available here.
3. Sometimes other regions are released months ahead of here.
4. Sometimes certain games aren't dumped here but are elsewhere.

How long untill a price drop or a clone? Around 2 weeks. Someone dedicated will open the G3DS and make a copy. In retaliation Gateway will drop the price.

Does the beta update requires the DS card again?
Because I have a theory If you have a EU or US or JAP 3DS after installing the update can you test a retail 3DS game from another region but not with the 3DS Card. I think it might work.

Nope. Just change out the launcher.dat file you put on the 3DS' SD card. Plus when in GW3DS mode retail 3DS cartridges don't even show up in the menu.

Question -- is it just the regular ROM? Does the new launcher.dat stop the ROM needing the 5.1 update? How does it work?

this! I really want there to be some news about this- I think this should take priority over homebrew - that way there's a bigger customer base -> more revenue -> more dev resources.

If I were in they're shoes I'd work on compatibility 1st, then the NAND issue followed by multi-rom/homebrew.

But I'm guessing that's just wishful thinking

1. If somebody install Gateway to Nintendo 3DS, can he return back to non-hacked 3DS without NAND backup?
2. Someone tried to go online with installed Gateway? In gateway mode and in normal mode.
3. It safe to use online with the real copy of the game with installed gateway?
