So it comes with a 500gb HDD, I was wondering what sort of storage options you would have for it. Considering the x1 was going to be essentially digital only I was hoping it would be 1TB, 500GB wont go a long way when you start dumping big next gen BR games and other patches and DLC onto it.

After formating and the OS, swap file, I bet you're left with something like 400GB's to use for your games and recordings...

HDMI input is shocking to me, can I record things with it? or is it just a pass through.

As much as I hate to admit it, the guy is way more enthusiast about unboxing his console than Iwata in this video.

Conveniently the sticker can be used to cover your Kinect camera.
ROFLMAO! :rofl:

Now all they need to do is add that to the tutorial video.
"If you disagree on these terms and conditions, and refute the right to EVER go online like ALL THE COOL KIDS do...then please cover your kinect with this included sticker".

Kinect looks NSA as hell.
;O;
JOKES
Wait,I got one! Ahem...

"That's one NSAty looking kinect!" :D

I guess he's too fat to see it ;O;

That's very strange, it won't let me like this particular post properly for some reason.
Whenever I try it, the loading thing on the top-right times out and fails, but it works for other posts in the thread.

Well he is getting paid to do it: I believe I sense a salesman personality in him. And, Satoru Iwata is the president of Nintendo; he's the big boy. The things he says are the highest recommendations you can get from the company. Also, he is very formal; it's part of Japanese culture. And it's best to put your best foot forward when you're presenting something.

Edit: Why'd you post that? You knew I'd watch it and geek out, didn't you? Shame on you. :ohnoes: But I did like it; it was much better than this Xbox video IMO.

Everyone's a stickler for a sticker. That's right, you're all sticker sticklers. Just don't stick your sticker on your sister because no one respects a sister sticker.

Size, meh, I like a hefty system that can be pulled over and squash an infant. HDMI only's a bit of a drag. Heaven forbid someone still be running an HDTV from before that was a thing and want to play some Xbone over component or maybe even VGA. Of course, both of these seem to be "issues" for the PS4 as well, and they don't have a sticker.

Hum... Personally I don't see what's the issue with the Xbox One looks wise, it doesn't seem to be much bigger than the first 360 and well, even if it's bigger it doesn't necessarily mean it's crap just because of that. z.z

I'll wait and see what'll be of the Xbox One.

Wait so I am supposed to get excited over a new printed design on top of an [insert console of choice] or a new colour for the same yet I supposed to deride those instances where stickers are involved?

Eh... It really isn't that big...nor does the power brick look much,if any, bigger than the 360's... Kind of nitpicky folks.

Considering the size of the console you'd think MS would be able to fit thea PSU in there. Sony's had an internal PSU on every single Playstation made.

The PSone and the pre-90000 PS2 slims have external PSU.

And I can see an argument for external, easier to replace if it breaks, takes some of the heat (and PSU's generate a not insignificant amount) out of the system case, etc.

On the other side, sure is nice just having to find a generic cord to plug into the back of a system instead of the one specific brick.

I think it's because they added the HDD INTO the console, rather than out like the 360. And also added the hardware for the TV stuff to work.
