Hacking R4i new firmware

So i purchased my R4 card for 3DS from: http://www.r4i.ndsi.in/
Does anyone knows when a new update is gonna come out for 3DS version 4.5.0-10E on this site?
It seems that they completely abandoned the card, because they didnt make a update for a LONG time...

alot of cards are not compatible with 4.5.0 due to a hardware check was put in place
so a update will never be available because a hardware change was needed

I think i'm going for the Supercard DSTwo, because i heard you have a GBA emulator for it, and a better SNES emu etc, and it has pretty good feedback, what would you recommend though?
In the meantime, i'll be using my R4 card on my DSi (it still works on that one).

well i have 2 DSTwo's
and 4 R4ids.cn R4i Golds LOL
the DSTwo's are the best, never had an issue with but people only opt for the R4ids.cn R4i Gold if the price is high for them

but yeah the GBA and Snes work great for games i play on it
