If it's a midnight release across Europe as a whole surely that means it will be out around 9 in the UK to download? Or do they do it by each country I'm hearing mixed comments.

How did it work in the USA/Canada?

In the USA it was released at Midnight EST (on the 9th), which meant somewhere like Hawaii got the game at 6 p.m. on the 8th.

Thanks for clearing that up, most likely UK midnight release, 3AM for Russia, being the furthest point in Europe with eShop. Eager Beaver!

I think you got it backwards. EST is 6 hours ahead of Hawaii Time. Sorry about that.

So I have, my heads away with it today, so now the odds are I could possibly see it at 9pm... but It's down to what time zone Nintendo Eur pick for midnight release. I'm under the assumption it's still the UK and will still be midnight >< midnight is a struggle with a 5 month old daughter, the impatience!!!! :L

That makes sense. After I bought my Club Tortimer application, suddenly there was more difficult and different activities open to me than there had been previously.

On the plus side, today I got my wet suit too, so that adds a new level of collecting!

america was different due to they have different time zones across the country

I hope so too, would suck if we had to wait till next week.

If the game Releases for midnight release they'll start pushing codes I'd imagine hours before that to compensate for the likes of Russia, Germany, France and Spain. That would be the decent thing to do. No idea how Nintendo will work it. Better not be next week I'll cry :L

I've got my E-mail and all telling me it will be received shortly after it's release, my cousin from Canada said that he received his minutes before midnight, he wasn't seeing it at first but he logged out of the site (because he's constantly left logged in) and back in and it was there on the banner, his code was never e-mailed to him.

We should try and get a hold of the web address that comes up for EU customers who already have their code for different games that was on offer.

I have the monster hunter gift code to and the address changes from that to normal view when I refresh the page lol.

at the end of the url it's /clubnintendowelcome_p4

I hit refresh the code banner goes away (no way to click to it without logging out and in) and the url changes to /mypersonaldata_p3
