Hacking R4i3d2012 Card

Hi,
This is my first post so unsure if I'm doing it right.
I purchased 2 r4i3d cart with 2012 on it cheap from someone. I have a number of dsi dsi xl and ds lite consoles.
I downloaded the kernel and latest firmware for the card from r4i3d.com as I have 1 dsi running V1.4.5
loaded the _rpg and .dat file onto the micro card plus the fwUpdate_V5.06 file.
First made sure it ran on dslite/dsi (v1.41E and XL console running v1.41E) put it into dslite and updated it. It worked great in the V1.4.5 DSi and changed the game reader to Konami Digital Entertainment with a load of chinese writing above it, games I had on the card played fine, so I copied all the files from that card onto hard drive - reformatted card to use in another r4 card (perhaps silly I know but it was 03am and short of microSD cards). Anyway I copied the info back onto the card in the morning now it won't work. Brings up black screens with - An error has occured. Press and hold the POWER button refer to DSi Manual for details. PLEASE HELP?????

You copied all the files onto another microSD card, i think you are saying after the update worked.

You now need to apply the update file on the other flashcart to update that one.

I hope i understood right.

Thx for the reply. It was the same cart. this is what I don't understand. I think I must has missed a file or something. I checked the file against the 1 I saved before the update and it was different. It definitely worked before. Won't work on dslite dsi V1.41 or V1.4.5 or the xl now. Got me really stumped and don't know where to go from here exept buy another cart and start again???

Format the microSD with the PanasonicSD Formatter (backing up the microSD card 1st) and start again from scratch.

Have tried that don't know if it's because i have already updated the cart, it doesn't like it. I saved a folder before and after the update on the DSLite. Where is the safest place to buy the carts from please and which are the best??

How long do the cards take to come? Is it weeks or days?? they come pre-loaded with firmware/kernel don't they so you can just put in the card and play?

My 1st order i received next day delivery (this was purchased with free delivery too)

My 2nd order was received in 5-6 days
