Why won't my Resident Evil Archives 1 & 0 backups work through my DARKCorp disc channel?
Good question. You'd think they should. Are you using the latest DARKCORP version? Have you checked to see if they're on the compatibility list? (Don't remember where it is but I know there is one.)

I can't find the list, their used to be a link but its invalid, as for current version it's 1.1 right?

Quick question; I have a 64 GB SD card. Since the Wii cannot go above 32GB capacity, would putting the SD card into a USB adapter make it work?
Actually, if you format the card to FAT32, it SHOULD work just fine. Others have reported that it does.
The problem is that usually SD cards that are 64gb and up come formatted with exFAT and not FAT32 but that's easy to change.

Okay, thank you. :) When I find some free time to set it up, I'll come back and report if it works.

I also have another question. I have two Nintendo Wiis. One is softmodded, and the other is normal and unhacked. What happens if I try to play Animal Crossing City Folk online between the two? I'll be using USB loader GX, with my backup, and the regular Wii with the retail disc. Can I harm my normal Wii or harm my Animal Crossing save file, by connecting and playing online to it with the softmodded Wii?

Shouldn't be any problem there. Nintendo, unlike Microsoft and Sony, doesn't seem to be able to catch if your console's soft-modded or not when connecting online.

I have Multi Mod Manager, and when I try to install the Dios Mios Lite wad, it tells me that the install was unsucessful. Is there any special cIOS I need for this to run? And when I try to load up any GameCube games from USBLOADER GX, right after the splash screen, I get a black screen. Can anyone help?

What is the simplest USB loader to setup and use? Installing the Homebrew channel was fiddly enough. I just want to load a downloaded game ISO from usb.
Also, which loaders support using the Wiimote controller? Newer Wii dont have gamecube controller ports.

Here's a comparison table of the main ones: http://gbatemp.net/threads/backup-loaders.333364/
I'd say USB Loader GX as the least setup to it IMO but compare them for yourself.

None of them need the GameCube controllers.
The only thing related to them that you won't be able to do without GC controllers is play actual GameCube games.

Hello! I followed this guide to install cIOS when I first softmodded my wii. Since then, the site has put up this updated d2x guide. Is it safe to just run d2x over my old waninkoko's cIOSes, or do I need to do something else for it to be safe?

You can use the d2x installer to install the new cIOS over the old one, no steps are required before that (if you already have IOS236, as this guide use it).

if you don't have IOS236, you can install it first (there's a IOS236 installer), or use slot249 instead of 236 if your current cIOS is rev17 or lower.

I'm having a few problems installing Dios Mios Lite 2.4. I am using USB Loader GX v3.0 IOS 249 (Rev 21008) (d2x v8final base56) and WAD Manager V1.4

I just recently installed IOS 236 v6 because somewhere on the internet, I "needed" this in order to use Dios Mios Lite with GX.

First, my WAD Manager (1.4) Wouldn't load the SD on either IOS 249 or 250, I believe this could be because of having d2x installed on both IOS's. However, it would load my SD from IOS 236. So, I figured: "well if I install it(DML) there, and set my loader to that IOS and it should work." It didn't.

When I start a gamecube game, the Dios Mios screen loads, but says "Incorrect config version, please update your loader!". There are no updates.

So, I believe I needed to uninstall Dios Mios Lite from IOS 236, but when I try I get an error:

[+] Uninstalling WAD, Please wait...
>> Deleting tickets... ERROR! (ret = -1017
>> Deleting title contents... ERROR! (ret = -1017)
>> Deleting title... ERROR! (ret= -1017)

When mounting the SD on IOS 249 in WAD Manager v1.4 I get the error:

[+]Mounting deving, please wait... ERROR! (ret = -1)

My questions are:

How can I/do I need to uninstall this WAD(DML)?

-and-

How can I get WAD Manager to open my SD under the 249 IOS?

-but seriously-

What do I need to do?

Okay, you're problem is simpler than you think. GX v3.0 (r1180) isn't compatible with Dios Mios Lite v2.2 or higher. You need to install the latest beta for it to work (r1203)
http://www.mediafire.com/?5qxw72i94w2jf2x

FYI : WAD Manager asks what IOS to load because different IOS's have different privileges to install stuff. IOS 236 can usually install stuff just fine (even install one thing on top of the other) but it can't UN-install very well. That's why you were getting the error.
No matter what IOS you select when starting the WAD Manager it's the WAD file itself that tells it WHERE to install, what you're telling it is what to use to install it. In this case, the DML WAD file will install into the MIOS slot rather than any IOS slot.

Wow, thanks a ton. Now I won't stop and think forever before selecting an IOS with WAD Manager!!

Lastly, in the file it came with three .dol's. So these are versions of GX? or are they DML? Do I need to use all of them?
