DSTwo skin system is a little bit different, and not that good.
It would be really good if someone created a menu system that was compatible with AK and Wood themes.

I can confirm r4i gold 3ds with wood 1.52 is working 100% with ap patch

I have a r4i gold 3ds (r4ids.cn)on a 3DSXL with firmware 4.3.0-10U, and the game doesn't work.

Cart is showing Rafal Nadal Tennis, wood 1.52, and all I get is the red loading screen when launching the game (AP Patched).

I tried upgrading the r4i gold 3ds, with the patch in the OP, but my cart is a PCB 7, the update patch in the OP is only for 9 and up (A,B, or C).

So looks like I have to wait for r4ids.cn to update the firmware to play this game.

You may have to reformat your microSD card to get it to work. I'm in the exact same situation you're in and thats the only thing I haven't done. I would try this out right away but I don't have my micro SD reader with me and the only method I have to transfer data to it is through my phone and for some reason it takes forever just to do anything and I'm too impatient to try transferring all my files, formatting, and then transferring them all back (seriously it would probably take 12 hours)

Also your r4i-gold is an r4i-gold (non-3ds), not the r4i-gold 3ds. Also it has nothing to do with the patch of the r4i-gold because that just pertains to the getting the cart to work on the system, not the games.

using retrogames firmware on an updated r4i-3ds card (r4i-sdhc.com) , black 2 doesnt seem to be working.
it runs, but either breaks before entering a name or when saving.

ysmenu freezes before the name thing and lags until it freezes, dstt freezes when i hit save.

i'm loading white 2 now, as someone posted pictures of it working, however, i have no idea if he just checked if it starts or not...

anyone got an idea whats the problem though? in another forum, someone said something about sd card quality. im using a class 4 sandisk card that worked for every other game so far, so is it really that you need a higher class card to play it?

I would assume so. From what I remember, using the same save file for different versions usually messed some things up due to version exclusives and what not, no?

the saves are not compatible. theres nothing more to it, theyre two different games. it should be possible to convert saves though, but who'd go through all the trouble to write a converter?

Tested with a JP Black 2 save to a U White 2 rom so they should be compatible regardless of region and game.
