Videogame Powers!

Hmm....interesting.

-Tetris 'disappearing row' power (so long nuclear waste, garbage and pretty much anything not needed anymore :P ).
-UT translocator or the portal gun (obvious)
-Unreal/UT 'ghost' mode (probably in all UT-engine games). Basically noclipping mode and flying mode in one.
-"realism shooter" hacking tools. Seriously...hack any computer in a matter of seconds by standing next to it?
-starcraft 2 drone warp-in ability (basically: rent money to build one quarry and some wood. Start making bungalows pretty much the same day wherever someone wants it).
-sim city 2000 major powers (my hometown would look pretty weird pretty fast, I'd imagine :P ).
-Dhalsim's extendable limbs (even if it ends up like this).

But if I had to pick ONE:
Tim's time rewind option (from Braid). The utilities are endless: from buying a lottery ticket, playing poker to picking up girls or smashing up the place to wind down...I don't think I would EVER become bored with it. :D

Be a Shin Megami Tensei protagonist and pull off ridiculous things which may or may not include destroying reality for a chance to kick god's ass to oblivion alongside Lucifer as the general of his army.
Or be a Persona protagonist. Two words: Social links. I will leave it to your imagination to figure out what I mean dohohohohohohoho~

Having a Player pin to read people's thoughts would be awesome.
Having an ability to run at 700 mph with a Sonic boost would be awesome if there were rings everywhere in the world.
Mario's ability to break flying brick with his hand is nice.
As a matter of fact being able to jump as high as Mario would be nice.
Oh and I would love being able to make portals through space.
Or if I could break anything with my fist without hurting it(with the exeption of bedrock).
Too many powers to think of.

Teleportation, for sure.

Think about it. Be able to work anywhere, then "go home" to anywhere else in the world. Be able to visit friends anywhere in the world in an instant. No more time wasted on flights (doing your bit for the environment too, ah?)

Seriously, have you never considered that when we have a Deja Vu, we're just continuing from our previous life where we died?

Your avatar fits oddly well to this comment.

I'd also enjoy good checkpoints along with save points. Imagine saving when you're like 15 and not doing so for fifteen years only to find you're a colossal fuck up when you're 30? Either relive the last fifteen years or stay in the same shitty situation.

Also I'd love a Mass Effect-style dialogue system. Where I have three choices with semi-predictable outcomes. It'd make life so much easier and I'd never be at a loss for words.
