Error 115 is returned from not being registered on the website, as was already mentioned up a bit further in the thread. I actually had to look that exact error up in the code last night, as I forgot what it meant (and I was using a new serial number that I had apparently not registered myself).Sylverant is down or something, since it disconnects me with error 115.
Fair warning, Sylverant isn't exactly the easiest piece of software to get working and may or may not work properly under Windows anymore. I've never actually actively supported using it on Windows, simply because I didn't design it for that and because I don't actually use Windows often myself (my initial work on it was done under Mac OS X both on PowerPC and x86, now its mostly developed under FreeBSD on x86-64). That all said, its not terribly hard to set up, even if my documentation is a little... lacking.Wouldn't surprise me if the server software I'm using expects some sort of BBA-specific stuff, since it should work okay, but doesn't. Maybe I'll try compiling Sylverant's server instead, and using that.
What are the specs on your laptop?r124 is now up.
- dial-up modem emulation added
Nice! Between this and BBA support on Dolphin, I can play PSO at home or on the road with my laptop now.
don't let the backup tool touch the wii files and don't defrag themPS.: I have a question, and please forgive me if it has already been answered, but is there a way to make the AP permanent? I have no problem with it at all, but I have to do it every time again when I do something on my HDD or SD card. I use my HDD as backup drive aswell and every few days when I do a backup, I have to re-verify my games again. Sorry if I bother you with this.
depends on wether the tool used actually touches the dvv/iso files or not. That's odd... I've defragmented the drive with the .DVV files and don't recall having to re-verify anything as a result.
Something is really wrong with whatever software you're using. Touching files in a completely different partition should have no effect on the .DVV files. Most likely whatever changed them also corrupted your memory card file. I strongly recommend you move any important data off that drive ASAP and reformat it, because it sounds like the partitions might be overlapping.Thanx for clearing that up^^
I have not loaded anything new onto the HDD, So it's probably not a loader problem. I played the game yesterday and got the memcard error today, so something happened there. I did unplug the HDD and renamed one file on the other partition to test if backupping on one partition makes the DVV files useless (and yes, it does) and then I updated the SD card app to r124. And then the save was corrupt. So I assume it was the renaming of a completely different file on another partition. I probably plugged the HDD out too fast. Happens a lot to me.
How do you expect that to work? You expect it to validate all your games just because you inserted a single disc?So basically I should not update or touch both the SD and the HDD until there is a release that plays all of my games. Good to know. Maybe you could modify the AP so that everytime you have to re-verify a game, it automatically verifies the others too? I have a bunch of games and verifying all of them everytime takes almost an hour^^
I tried L33tserv while testing but was unable to connect (using DNS 69.171.154.27). I tested that DNS server on its own and couldn't get any responses from it, so I figured they're not interested in getting new players if their own connection instructions aren't up to date.Leetserv contains some of the regulars of schthack and so the server can (depending on the person opinion that is) be better, you will be able to see the same players on a regular base, if you like seeing new faces every week schthack is better, if you want to make friends and play with those same players after 2 months then leetserv might be a good choice.
