I have a Madcatz 2.4GHz wireless gamecube controller that had been in my closet for awhile now, so I charged up some batteries, plugged the receiver into my Wii, the light turns solid to signafy that it was connected and the Wii did not reconize it on VC, GC game, or Homebrew, and it did not detect. Any Help?

turn it on, after that, hold the button in the center.( the one that light up,red.).. i have the same controller. an some times that works for it. or you could try an sit closer to the reciever when you first turn it on an see if that works.

Hey guys, I always have a 2.4 Mad Catz controller. For some reason when I turn it on the light in the middle blinks once than never turns on again, neither was it able to connect to my wii, my wiiu, or my switch! If anyone knows how to solve this problem, please tell me how to fix this!!! And yes I changed the batteries 10 times

They only work in a Gamecube port so they wouldn't work on the Wii U or Switch. They're not Bluetooth.

weird... I have a wavebird, sometimes the connection is weird with mayflash but it works otherwise.

I had one issue on a smash torny where there was wayy too much wireless interference to get a stable connection so half the inputs get cut out.. unplayable at a high level.

had to switch to wire for that venue, I'm used to the extra feel of the wavebird so it kind of sucks.
