Is this the Official Compatiblity list? http://wiki.gbatemp....patibility_List
If so can it please be added to the first post so it can be updated by all people instead of them posting in the thread .
This is the OLD compatibility list.
users started updating (and merging) new result in the old DIOS MIOS list.
This is now all messed up.

I wanted to fix that page to prevent even more confusion, but it's looks like more users are now modifying it. It may require a full reset.
I talked with Sk0ld, and he told me that DM and DML should have the exact same compatibility (except exceptional game needing the 8k missing mem1), so using DML compatibility list should be fine.
Both list will looks alike. (except for people thinking the game doesn't work because they don't have a good USB FAT32 32k primary active compatible partition, with wrong settings).

I didn't had the time, but I will try to merge both DM and DML into a single page.
Or I'll just update the DM page to have the same layout as DML (with nmm, 480p, etc) and delete old DM entries.

r6 is the old revision
r2.0 is not a revision, it's a version, it should be v2 *update2* or v2 *update3* etc.

Thank YOU!!!! , I maybe see some problems with future updates that break certain games,, can we maybe get the list of games copied over from the DML list with it reset so we can get an accurate solution for which version is working per game.

I would like 2 different lists, because it is already said some games may have slow down vs the DML version ,, people just need to get there setups correct before posting on the list.

yes, I can keep the list of games and reset the results.

we should make a posting rule like :
if it's working, give your info.
if it's not working, don't post. Instead try another setting/loader. If all settings for each loaders didn't work, only then mark it as Doesn't work.
Edit: Oh, and try again few times. (I have Wii switching off many times before the game actually launch).

but users with bad setup (incompatible HDD) can write bad reports.

@AngryGreek766
yeah, I know.
but it was to tell that it's not only a mario problem.
I don't know if a watchdog/ping can be added to DM.

Zelda collector's edition NTSCU, crashed for me upon entering woodfall temple area, Majora's Mask.. Played for about 1 hour.

BTW game looks great in 480p.

try few times with the same settings.
Try another loader
Try removing the memory card if you have any inserted. (Tales of symphonia is/was freezing with MC). I didn't test 3b yet.

Anyone know yet if there's a way to switch disks in games with multiple disks, like MGS:TTS or Tales of Symphonia? Just curious.

According to official dios mios project page it's not possible ( yet ).
Though some users posted it DID works with some of the games....it'svery unclear atm. I suggest to just try it and see what happens.

This is sadly a bug in nintendo's emulator, you can actually find many reports of random crashes when you google for that.

Some games like Baten Kaitos save before the disc change and allow you to continue on the 2nd disc even after a failed disc change.

Yes, DIOS MIOS v2.0.wad update 3c is now out.

Thanks crediar for continuing to develop DIOS MIOS. If it is not too much trouble, IMO it would make troubleshooting easier if you used different file names for each new revision.

Why not use 'DIOS MIOS v2.0 r14.wad' or 'DIOS MIOS v2.0 3c.wad'?

Okay, so I don't quite understand... I installed Dios Mios, and have an iso of Mario Sunshine. I tried to launch it through CFG Loader, black screen. I want to try USB Loader GX now, but for some reason, even if it recognizes the game in my FAT32 partition, it wants to save it on my SD card. What should I do ? Try again with another loader ?

just rename it yourself. thats what i just did as the rev i have working is perfect, but this new one could break stuff
I don't understand what you mean by that.
It's my first time using Dios Mios since I just got my Wii back from some relative, and I'm a real beginner when it comes to GC emulation.
Edit : Tried Wiiflow, black screen... I really don't understand.

I've done just that, starting after the first couple of revisions. However, when troubleshooting and someone is asked "What version are you using?".

"Oh... DIOS MIOS v2.0.wad"....

Okay, I did some brief testing last night and this is my preliminary report because I was only able to test out WiiFlow with v2.0 update 3a. I recognize there some other loader might not have the problem and I see there's now and update 3c which includes fixes on "video stuff" which is promising.

Basically, I was really excited to see the promise of "playing Luigi's Mansion PAL in NTSC" because I have an old NTSC 480i only TV (No component cables).
At least on WiiFlow r506 Luigi's Mansion PAL still just goes to a black screen (no signal) with the audio still playing like it did before when forced to NTSC.
The definite improvement, though, is that it WILL let it force PAL60 which it didn't before. This means I get a good image, it's just in black and white.
I'll do some more testing tonight with update 3c and other loaders since as I understand it the game shouldn't see much difference between PAL60 and NTSC.

Most of the other PAL games I have also let themselves be forced to PAL60 (but not NTSC) even before the selector screen. At that point the selector screen just doesn't have any effect when selecting to set it to 60hz. A similar game (no selector screen available) is Wario World but it still gives me flickering black and white screen (PAL50?) when I try to force PAL60. Also, Smash Bros. (Which does have a refresh rate selector screen) just hangs when I try to force NTSC (or PAL60 if I remember right) but I think it did that before, too. Once you get to the selector, though, it's switches just fine.

EDIT : It's also interesting to note that even though WiiFlow sets the refresh rate to 50hz or 60hz before loading DM, the splash screen is ALWAYS shown in 60hz. Also, it could just be my sucky TV but the fact that the words "DIOS MIOS" on the spash screen go slightly off the bottom of my screen make me wonder if it was actually designed for PAL50. Just a thought.
