And you ALL are using R4i 's ? R4i-SDHC ?
Cause at the moment I'm skimming for a solution to that. If there is no solution for that, I guess your out of luck.

Is it lying about how it's an R4 SHDC or something? :s If so, that's pretty rude! And
yeah, I've been keeping the original firmware and just putting the Wood and extras with it.
The r4i carts from www.r4i-sdhc.com should work with YSmenu (download here). Look in spoiler for installation instructions (in red).

If you have questions installing, just ask.
NOTE: I'm using YSmenu on dstti and the black2 rom works, so it should work on r4isdhc's if you guys install it properly.

Anyone with TTMenu successfully get the game to work past the Intro? Black Screen with sound at Start Screen so far on my end. x-x
I'm using the latest YSmenu (v6.80) and it's working flawlessly. Are you sure you have the latest?

I'm quoting this to let you know that this COULD work. If it does let me know so I can add it into the faq.

the ysmenu doesnt work for me i mean it loads when i use ttmenu then i get in the game it freezes when i save and its the latest

R4/i SDHC Upgrade Revolution - www.r4i-sdhc.com -> Rename TTMenu.dat to R4i.dat (Use R4-SDHC_R4i-SDHC folder)

this doesn't work i have the same problem with the save

Ok, here are the steps for you R4i-SDHC users
1. Reformat your cart, make sure you have the latest firmware, yada yada yada...
2. Download a CLEAN copy of either Pokemon Black 2 or White 2
3. Download the latest version of RetroGameFan's Multi Cart Firmware: http://gbatemp.net/t...pdatesreleases/
4. Download the AP v2 Patch on the first post of this thread.
5. Drag-and-Drop your copy of the game onto the AP Patch. Do all the confirmation stuff, etc.
6. Extract the files from RetroGameFan's firmware.
7. Copy the files from \29525-RetroGameFan Multi Cart Update v6.80\R4-SDHC_R4i-SDHC TTMenu and place it on the root of your flash cart.
8. Place your patch copy of the game to the root of your flashcart
9. From your flash cart, run TTmenu.nds
10. Select your game, and click the little plus sign.
11. Set everything in the settings to off.
12. Run the game

Try that?
And don't tell me I did that. Do it again! triple checking cannot hurt!

Yeah,the same problem :X

at first, i was able to play the game fine and save fine but i couldn't access my pokemon menu without it freezing up.
so then, i tried different roms and patches and my save files always become corrupt everytime i turn my ds off and back on.

Something new cropped up:

i use a r4i-sdhc 3ds game cart. first you get your rom and then patch it with the patch that is on the first page. then you download the ndstokyotrim tool, and trim the patched rom. and voila. at first it didn't work on my ttmenu for some reason, but i reinstalled it, and it worked fine. i can save fine, view my pokemon stats, and all that good stuff. if an error occurs, i'll be sure to let you know, but so far so good.
