According to: http://wiiugo.com/cr...ii-u-games-yet/ WiiUGO, Crytek have no planned WiiU games... yet.

They do reveal that other license holders are using cry engine for WiiU though.
I did a bit off a search and found these developers. Not sure how many are working on WiiU though.
PS vita also won't be getting Crytek support as it's somewhat too late - http://www.neogaf.co...087&postcount=1 crdt=heartgold

Cry Engine on WiiU = The Cry U Engine.

I think it would be more like "U must Cry Engine"

Sounds good that Nintendo's getting support from popular companies, but I'm still waiting for E3 to know about the console (I don't give a flying duck about the obese controller).

? Wouldn't they have to have something to do with it if these guys are using their engine?

They can license their engine out. Like Epic Games hasn't really announced anything for the Wii U but odds are Unreal Engine games will be on it.
Ahhh didn't quite get that. Sorry for the noobish questions. XD

Only studio there I recognize is NCSoft, never heard of the others.

But not Crytek on Wii U? Looks like they can "cry" about it. BAHAHAHAHA.
Hmm? I thought Crytek was the company who made the Cry engine.

Yeah but the joke is that they're not developing games for the Wii U.

So? They are as much game developers as they are development tools creators. I doubt they have anything in the works right now, considering that they finished Crysis 2 several months ago. If they are working on anything, it's still in very early stages of planning and concept design.

I thought about creating a new thread but went against it for the below information.

PS vita also won't be getting Crytek support as it's somewhat too late - http://www.neogaf.co...087&postcount=1

Maybe the opening poster can request a mod to include PS Vita in the title.

Well no shit Cry Engine won't be on the Vita. I know the Vita is very powerful but it's not gonna run something as bulky as Cry Engine. Hell even Unreal Engine games at 60 FPS still had to be downgraded as shit visually to look good (like how awful Mortal Kombat looks).
