Flashcarts do work on the 3DS in DS mode, do a quick research.
I believe 'temp did this to accomodate talk about hacking the 3DS. And what do you mean a place for 3ds flashcards, this IS the place.

I know they do. This is not the place, if you look in the dsphat/lite section you will see that they have there own place for flashcards. So the 3DS section needs it too!

I actually agree with the OP. There are too many threads saying 'How to get my AK2i working on 3DS?' or 'Is it safe to upgrade to x firmware?'

But does it really warrant a separate forum thread? For such a new device that's not even fully hacked, that's unnecessary IMO.

I agree with OP... It doesn't make sense, especially since the flashcards (which are for the DS, but fixed to work on the 3DS) aren't really hacking or modifying the system. Flashcards are DS-Mode, so they should stay in the DS topic. That, or give flashcards their own legitimate spot somewhere in the forum.

This sums up what I was going to say as well.

o lord

Now, if this is about all the Ak2i/DSTwo/Whatever support threads being here, yes they should be in their own subforum so report them so a mod can move them... but general talk about flash carts and the 3DS is hacking as far as I'm concerned.

Flash carts are a hard mod that allow you to run unsigned code.

What, is the whole "Well you didn't make the cart" the aspect for it not being called a "hack"? That's just elitist/pedantic. Getting into details like that, unless you built the hardware yourself (if required for modding) and coded the exploits yourself with your own compiler and everything, it's not a "hack" if you didn't make it. :P I mean if a flash cart isn't a hack, then neither is a pandora for the PSP, or those USB dongles for the PS3, or what's done to 360s with USB drives and flashers and shit.

The main difference being that for the DS, the internal firmware is not modified, but that's safer (and the internal firmware for the DS/Lite couldn't fit half the crap flash carts want to do anyways and the DSi's internals are untouchable by the masses right now).

It's about the first bit.

i'm sorry but i'm not going to look over this
grammarnaziing is the lowest form of trolling, you do realize that right? everyone is sick of that

that said, i agree with rydian and if i'm not mistaken, this was discussed before and i also agree with highkaze, because atm what would happen with a flashcart section is basically moving 98% of this section's topics to another section and letting this die until the 3ds actually gets hacked
wouldn't really make much sense, would it?
Actually, there is nothing wrong with being a grammar nazi. You can make any argument you want about how "this is the internet lololol i dont need grammer here lolol", it makes you look retarded. I tend to respect people more with good grammar than those without.

Anyways, on topic, there isn't a need for 7 or 8 different sub-forums for every single flash card ever that work on the 3DS, it'd just clutter up the forums and make everything look bloated. Not only that, but they aren't truly 3DS flashcard so whats the point? We have dedicated sub-forums for flashcards in the DS section but no one tends to use them as often concerning the 3DS and I don't think any of the mods would want to move the 100 threads a day into the appropriate section.

@K3Nv2 Snow Day is pretty fun. My only bitch would be the camera controls, when you move around, say down, you have to move the right stick left or right to get camera to turn and get your view, other than that I like it so far.

I just been playing offline, and they give you a few bots here n there on your team to help battle. I don't think it's as funny as the other games tho, more battle oriented than humor, which kinda sucks, but I'm still early in it
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, doesnt the game have a campaign mode?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, and co-op, but you can also start a pvp session and battle just with friends. You get special skill cards (powers) the more you play. And higher value cards, but you can only enable so many cards at a time.

Toilet paper is considered the money, you collect and buy stuff with TP, kinda funny. Graphics are def better than the other games tho, I think they used Unity 5 engine.

@Xdqwerty, Many of them did before colour television was common.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Likely because black and white TV was in-expensive.

It certainly wasn't inexpensive it cost the same as a new car back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
How much did a 1965 color TV cost?

For example, a 21-inch (diagonal) GE color television in 1965 had an advertised price of $499, which is equal to $4,724 in today's dollars, according to the federal government's inflation calculator.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@K3Nv2, take into consideration how economy was back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah that's why they listed inflation rates
