Fan favourite DS title Ghost Trick, by Shu Takumi of Ace Attorney fame is finally available for iOS in english regions, as well as french, german, italian and spanish.
The download is free, and allows you to play for the first two chapters, where you then have to buy the remaining chapter as in-app purchases.
Free is really $10.49 at least for the full game, but this will be more than worth it for this acclaimed title.

:wtf:
is capcom really just going to port all of it's good DS titles to the app store?
Looks a lot better than that slap-job they pulled for Megaman X, with its badly redrawn sprites, screen transitions everywhere, and being able to purchase weapons and upgrades.
No no, Ghost Trick iOS looks a lot better, the animations appear to be much better quality than the DS allows thanks to anti-aliasing and higher resolution display.
It probably looks like a dream on iPad if there's a dedicated version.

Does that mean it'll play the iPhone version on the iPad with upscaled graphics or is that true iPad support?
It means if you sync to iPad, you get the iPad version if you sync to iPhone/Pod, you'll get that version.

Like with Android where if you have a supported device, you get the HD version instead of the normal one.

OH NO A LARGER AUDIENCE GETS CAPCOM'S GAMES SO THAT FRANCHISES LIKE ACE ATTORNEY AND GHOST TRICK MAY LIVE ON.

THE HORROR... THE HORROR...

In all honesty, buying platformers for iOS is never a super idea, especially one as precision intensive as Megaman X. The touchscreen works fine for tons of games, such as your point-and-click adventures obviously and I'll even give it a pass on fighters (SFIV doesn't control THAT badly), but platformers or most anything with "virtual pads" is something I could never get a hang of.

Wow, I'm impressed by the two chapters lol, though if these two chapters are to go by it's going to be a short game? :/

I can't pay for the next chapters right now (I had to download the IPA from somewhere else, loldebtwithitunes) so I'll just play Phoenix Wright until I can..

I'm really enjoying how there are no longer iOS games being released that support 2nd gen iPods... I don't get to play Chrono Trigger, Scribblenauts, GTA 3, FF:Tactics, or this...
