I have ordered a R4i Gold 3ds and before i recieve it i was wondering if i could get a quick rundown on how to set it up?

PS- i have a 3ds (3.0.0.6-e) and a DSLite

Well if you are just going run it on the DSlite its just a matter of downloading WoodR4(Click Woodr4 upgrades in my sig) and extracting it on a micro sd.

For the 3DS,you have to apply the V2.2.0-4 Patch first which if done will work with 3.0.0.6.
Just go here:http://www.r4ids.cn/news.htm and scroll down and you will find it and after patching just apply woodr4 again.

No problem.

Do not update your r4i gold 3ds.Because all r4i gold 3ds have been pre-flashed to support 3DS 3.0.0-6.

If it has the Spongebob icon, you -censored- win.

That firmware and card is awesome, subverting Ninty's past few updates.

They have kept support without even requiring another flash.

If you need to update to the Spongebob icon, just go to their website.
