I put Just Dance 3 on my external hard drive, and loaded it with USB Loader GX. All games have been working fine on it previously. However, it will randomly freeze and give me a buzzing noise, making me restart the system by holding the power button. I updated my cIOS to IOSx Rev 21, as well as I am using the newest USB Loader GX (2.2 I believe). After updating the same thing is happening.

Update your cIOS249 to d2x v6 (base 56). You might also give Configurable USB Loader a try. If your problem remains unresolved, it is probably the game and you should try another backup.

I tried that before, but USB Loader GX wouldn't even find my external hard drive with that installed. I'll currently using CFG, and will see if it crashes. If it does, I'll update to d2x v6 and try with CFG.

Yep, installed d2x v6 on 249, and now my hard drive isn't be found. Even in CFG.

Edit: It works now. The reason it wasn't finding my hard drive was because I was using an intercooler, giving me the one USB port on it for my hard drive. I was using that, but CFG said to use port 0, so I had to remove the cooler and plug the USB port into the bottom one.

I'm having the same issue!
It freezes a lot...
I've installed d2x v6, still freezing. I tried USB Loader GX, NeoGamma R9 B50 (disc and USB) - same issue.
Haven't tried CFG, I'll try it later.

Edit: I had d2x v6 installed with a different base ios. Installed it with 56 as base this time.
Tried CFG, and USBLGX, the freezing issue seems to be gone, however my sister said that whenever she plays some song called "Think" (Or "Freedom" - she's not sure what the name of the song is) the screen goes black and it says "Reading disc..." about half way through. :S

Also, CFG doesn't save which theme I use and stuff. It goes back to the default whenever I re-enter the channel.

I did not have any problems, but I tried only California girls. How long did you guys play to get problems? I like the new feature in it "Ubisoft want to monitor your...". yeah right!. I'll wait for expert opinion on that.

The save settings is a bit hidden. Its in manage -> system -> save settings (in cfg)
I couldnt find it either at first :)

Something strange happened here too. Using CFG 70 with cios249 d2x v6 base 56. First time I loaded a song (I feel Love) it froze right at the beginning of the song (some error about reading disc on a black screen). I had to force reboot the Wii. Reloaded the game and the same song, and this time it played flawlessly to the end. Also tried several other songs and didn't encounter the error again. Only time will tell if this is some kind of very random AP or not.

It works fine for me on usb loader gx. And i have an older version. it could be the iso ur using. so try that. or try changing the setting if its not supposed to be the same region, ie. PAl- settings->force ntscu->video patch on, etc.

That might be the latest binary release, but that is a long way out of date compared to what is on the svn.

MutatedGamer: yes my game partition is NTFS, copied iso to the partition using wit copy. Do not know what is demonoid. Getting links are a "paradox" to me

smf: Thanks for the info. If my kids crash the system and if I can't load it with uloader I will have to compile it by myself.

MutatedGamer, did you resolve the problem? I'm having the same problem, usb loader 2.2, d2x v6 with 56, tried cfg and still freezes. I haven't tried d2x v7b1d but still having doubts about it, because is beta. Anybody tried this version?

Edit: Also I've tried 2 different isos and having the same result.

There's gotta be something else, tried d2x v7b1d with the same result, still freezes. Download last available version of usb loader gx, from the original web page and nothing.

I have system menu 4.2U and my hdd is formated NTFS.

Thanks for your help.
