You're a bit off. Off =/= of. They aren't interchangeable.

Show of your hands. = Can be like an actual show about your hands. Kind of... weird.

I don't really like the blue though. I usually don't go for black, but the blue turns me off. so I got the black one. I'm pretty happy with it cause it looks professional and all.

on a side note, where are the demo sets? I went there a few weeks ago hoping to get some street pass tags but couldn't find them T_T

on a side note, if you want StreetPass tags, head down to orchard (especially in takashimaya areas, far east plaza/shopping center areas and places around wisma atria). There are a lot of people there having '3DS gatherings' by just exchanging SP tags.
