The port is pretty epic! The analogue stick pointer works surprisingly well, although it would be really cool if a Wii Remote-type gyro control method existed for touchscreen-based ports like this (like in Mario Galaxy, Cpt. Toad ports). I'm curious if forcing the game to render in landscape could work as well.

I found that using Sphaira's MTP Install mode to access the microSD card wasn't reliable enough to transfer all files, but USB Transfer Tool (Haze) worked fine.

Quite happy this port exists. Nowadays I don't play on a phone at all, nor do I really have a conventional device to play this game on. Stoked to see some other Nintendo mobile games ported if they ever get an offline/online revival!

Also, a fair warning; after the tutorial, the additional download brought up in the OP is currently around an additional 2.2 GB. Just putting this out there for anyone with too little microSD storage or using a limited data plan!

I don't know why, but whenever I finish the game's introductory tutorial, the subsequent download always fails with a connection error—usually around the halfway mark. I do have a working connection, as the download eventually completes after a retry, but after playing for a while, the game gets stuck in an infinite loading loop (as I mentioned in previous messages). I’ve tried version 1.0.1, and the same thing keeps happening. I’m not sure if it has anything to do with the region; I’m in Spain, and my date and time settings are correct.
