Yay... Vibecoding! That always turns out so well!
First Nvidia, now AMD. We've only had good AMD Drivers for such a short time... right back in the dumpster we go.

You realise it’s only vibe coding if you just let the AI run wild and have no idea what it’s doing right? I’d wager the majority of software development companies are using AI to some extent at this point.

AI can make some interesting things if you let it run loose, but if you actually have the technical knowledge to guide it properly, and subsequently understand and vet what it outputs, it’s just a raw time save. I’d be very surprised if AMD weren’t already using Claude or something similar before this more public partnership.

Wouldnt the same be true for Nvidia then?
Where driver-issues are now non-stop? Where entire Drivers were pulled for massive issues?
Look... yeah... in theory? sure, could be nice.
In practice tho? it sucks.

I'm okay with vibe-coding, but people need to go through it manually and tighten shit up.
The state of Windows 11 THIS LATE IN THE GAME™ is fucking embarrassing!!!
im just not so sure they actually care enough.
there about as many promises of improvements are there are issues with microsoft.
they SAID they would improve it, work on RAM management etc etc
id like that, im just not so sure i can believe that.

For me, Windows peaked at the first early preview builds of Windows 8, when it was still mostly 7 but had many things stripped out or stripped back and ran very lean. The WIP Aero theme also looked really good.

i still miss the consumer preview aero theme so much

you didnt like 10? i miss 7 and i miss 10.
i think, of the modern era, those were my favorites.
the 11 era has been miserable for me.
that whole "Agentic OS"-push has been a horrible experience for me.
im constantly removing all AI and spyware components, researching every update, blocking them until there is actually one that works fairly well

I still like and use 10 as my main OS, but performance-wise... the very beginning of 8 was peak before they bloated it back up.

If you truly believe that there is any company out there (let's say with more than 100 employees) that does not use AI at all, you're delusional.
Not every piece of AI assisted coding is vibe coding. This witch hunt makes so sense.
