Happy June 15th! Well, this one was close enough. Atmosphere has been updated to add support for the latest Nintendo Switch firmware, 22.5.0. This means all of you legitimate users out there can enjoy the new eShop changes alongside your homebrew setups. You can find the full changelog below.

Changelog said:
  • Basic support was added for 22.5.0
  • Atmosphère was updated to use GCC 16/newlib (latest devkitA64/devkitARM releases)
  • General system stability improvements to enhance the user's experience

The latest version of Atmosphere can as always be downloaded directly from the project's GitHub releases page.

Mr. Mike 'hexkyz' Heskin now is the main maintainer of the Atmosphère, I guess. Rays of love to him, with respect!..

Yep, and he worked with alula to get the kick things off for firmware 22.0.0 after Scires retired! Will always respect them for continuing this!

I updated to 22.5.0 with no problems. Added atmopshere files + Hekate. For the life of me i cant remember what else i was meant to add, I believe it was Sys Patch. Would that now require updating? Thanks

Yes, sys-patch has been updated to v1.6.2.3. It's available for download on GitHub.

Be careful what you wish for—it might mean there won't be any more new Switch games.
What switch games are left besides castlevania. I think it took forever for another one of these games, that actually will count as a castlevania game for the main story I guess. I’m surprised they said on switch and not switch 2, even though it should be backwards compatibility, unless we need it to be another switch 2 update for switch games for that game.
