Metro Siege is being developed by BitBeamCannon, and will be available for Neo Geo, PC, and Amiga.

Campaign page:

In addition to the single player mode, Metro Siege can be played cooperatively with a human partner or a CPU-controlled partner. Neo Geo fans can pledge for physical AES carts or physical MVS carts. Pledging for a digital edition is also possible, for those who prefer playing on FPGA, emulation, or flash carts.

Metro Siege features some incredibly deep gameplay:

- Sophisticated combat mechanics, with evasive maneuvers, blocks, counter-attacks, and many ways to hit enemies while they're down!

- You can block weak attacks. Stronger attacks could knock you back and do partial damage. Blocking the split second before an attack would hit you results in a parry and counter-attack, inflicting bonus damage on the enemy and rewarding you with a little health and special meter back.

- You can hit downed enemies by kicking them, knee-dropping on them, or throwing other enemies onto them. Knee-drops do the most damage, but you risk hurting yourself if they roll out of the way before you land.

- Enemies are more skilled and use new combat styles as the game progresses, to increase the challenge and keep things interesting.

- The game is designed to avoid typical button-mash hypnosis. The gameplay rewards engaged fast paced decision making.

Less than 10 days into the campaign, the game is fully funded and five stretch goals have been smashed:

The addition of two more unique collectible trading cards to every physical edition of Metro Siege.

2 - Extended Soundtrack - UNLOCKED:
The addition of two more awesome musical arrangements to further augment the experience.

3 - Boss Rush Mode - UNLOCKED:
The addition of a gameplay mode which will let you play through all the boss fights of Metro Siege.

4 - Play as Bosses - UNLOCKED:
The addition of a gameplay mode which will let you play as some of the boss characters from the game.

5 - Extra Level - UNLOCKED:
The addition of another level to further enrich the world of Metro Siege and expand its gameplay.

The campaign manager has introduced a new stretch goal:

6 - 4th Playable Character:
The addition of a fourth playable character to the roster, further increasing replay value and gameplay variety.

It would be amazing if the PC version would have the roms for Amiga and NeoGeo included so I can purchase it on Steam but then play on the MiSTer. :P

then they cant double dip and charge you for each version you want to play. thats what sucks about alot of gaming situations in general. they always want to double dip.

if they would get rid of double dipping and game keys were actually game keys not just game key for switch 2, or ps5 or whatever system i would support game keys and I think alot of people would over a physical purchase because then you actually get something worthwhile for having a game key. the ability to play it on your system of chosing. its a pipe dream though to think that any dev is ever going to start including access to all systems a game is made for and then splitting up the payment rights to give each system a smaller piece of the pie so that the gamer can actually have a better experience.

BitBeamCannon has had your wish answered from Day 1!

The lowest campaign tier is named "Metro Siege Digital Edition" and its pledge amount is only €13. The tier description is:

- Play all three versions of Metro Siege (Amiga , Modern Windows PC, and Neo Geo).
- Digital Download (via Steam or itch.io).
- Digital Goodies.
- Access to the Steam/Itch.io edition begins about August 2027. At first featuring only the Amiga version until the others are released. The Neo Geo version should be added about Q1 2028 and the PC Widescreen version will follow.

But please consider helping even more by pledging for one of the higher digital tiers:

- Metro Siege Digital Collector's Edition - €43

- Metro Siege Digital Ultimate Edition - €82

Thanks for pledging!

No double dipping in this campaign!

See above reply to lordelan.

Please make a pledge for at least the Metro Siege Digital Edition at €13 if you can. Every bit helps.

- 2 Metro Siege Collectible Cards.
- Kickstarter Exclusive Signed Collectible Card (Signed by the lead game designer).
- A3 Metro Siege Poster.
- Digital Goodies.
- Your Name in the Game's Credits (Steam/Itch.io version).

Metro Siege Digital Ultimate Edition - €82
- Digital edition of all three versions of Metro Siege (via Steam or itch.io).
- Full Color Manual.
- Trading Card Set.
- Deluxe Trading Card Set.
- 2 Sticker Sheet Set.
