I noticed that no one had ever tackled this hidden PS2 gem, so I decided to roll up my sleeves and do it myself. I'm proud to present the first-ever 4K Texture Pack for Disney's Donald Duck PK (also known as PK: Out of the Shadows), specifically for the European version (SLES-50773).
Since 2026 marks exactly the 30th Anniversary of the original Italian comic book series "PKNA" (Paperinik New Adventures) that inspired this game, I want to dedicate this entire project to PK's 30th birthday and to its legendary writer, Alessandro Sisti. Thank you for making my childhoods awesome!

Details:
- Game: Disney's Donald Duck PK (PK: Out of the Shadows)
- Region: PAL (SLES-50773)
- Method: I manually played through the entire game to dump 100% of the environment, enemies, and effect textures. The upscaling was done using AI (Upscayl) to keep the original art style intact without making it look "strange" and make it look like an actual comic.
- UI/HUD: I manually checked and removed AI-upscaled text/UI elements that looked garbled and edited them with Photoshop, keeping the original clean fonts.
How to install:
- Download the ZIP file and extract it.
- Place the SLES-50773 folder inside your PCSX2 textures directory (usually PCSX2/textures/).
- Open PCSX2, go to Settings > Graphics > Texture Replacement.
- Make sure Load Textures is checked.
- Enjoy the game in 4K!
