Not technically Latin is still being updated to include new terms because it's the official language of the Vatican and they want to include modern words because how is the Pontifex to pontificate on the evils of mobile phones (or the printing press for that matter) if the word doesn't exist in the official language; however, a) any level of Latin that is taught in "class" probably doesn't include mobile phones and 2) they are all just descriptive terms consisting of already existing Latin words and not new words, so a mobile phone might be "apparatus de parlare ad longitudine sine filum ferrum" so there's really no point.
