Who was the legitimate President of Venezuela?

Was it Maduro?
Or was it Edmundo Gonzalez?
Doesn't matter because we know Trump is of ill intent. He let oil companies know of the invasion first.
The fucking oil companies knew, before Congress did.

If he was actually earnest, asked Congress for war powers, got approval and went after Venezuela. And it was genuinely because the fact there was a dictator who was illegitimately in power. Different story.

But no it's to enrich his donors. This is what it was about.

You guys keep claiming that you are the party of law and order. Yet, defying the entire part of law in law and order.

That's completely irrelevant to what you quoted, and I'm not going to dignify your loaded question with a response.

One day, you will answer for your unwavering support of this country's corruption and greed, and whatever higher power exists, whether that be God or fate, will not be merciful.

Nobody wants to answer the question, so I will. The duly elected President of Venezuela is Gonzalez. He won the election, but Maduro usurped power. Gonzalez gave his approval for the raid to capture Maduro, so there was no "illegal invasion of a sovereign nation." Its legitimate leader approved it.

That's funny. Both Dump and Muskrat have said many times last year that they stole the 2024 election. Does this mean you approve of military intervention in such cases?

No, really. Show me what the fuck you're talking about. While Gonzales does support Trump's actions, there's no evidence that there was any exchange before the raid where Trump politely asked him if he could bomb his country's cities and take its oil, and he said "yeah sure, go ahead". And even if he had, it was still illegal for Trump to bypass Congress and the courts to do it. The president does not have plenary authority to commit acts of war.

You're all the same. You all do the same grasping at straws. It amazes me how you choose to ignore literally every single point people bring up in this thread and your only defense is "it's probably still technically legal".

Gonzalez gave his approval for the raid to capture Maduro
I would like to see proof of this, and not from the "LiesSocial" site. Also did he approve the bombing of infrastructure and killing of citizens in his own country?

I looked for what I could, and there are no evidence of that. Would have been a pretty interesting excuse for Trump to go in, but I can't imagine him thinking that far ahead.

It also wouldn't make sense why the VP is still in charge then. Kind of pointless for the real leader of the country to ask for another leader to be taken, and then have the next in charge take over.

Their regime is past asking for permission it seems. I'm guessing you've seen this absolutely horrible interview with Miller:

I don't think they're asking Denmark's leaders for anything here. It's so bad that leaders around the world are telling him to fucking back off or else it'll be WW3. Before Canada being taken over by that psycho was just a running joke. Now people are about to get their guns out to shoot any American solder that thinks about stepping foot over here.

There isn't any defending this administration. THIS ISN'T NORMAL

This 100%! If this administration isn't tarred, feathered, and sent to the Hague, I won't trust the US ever again.

NATO without the US essentially ceases to be, which is Putin's biggest wet dream. Not a coincidence that Trump is acting exactly as he would if he was a Russian asset.

I don't think NATO would collapse, but, for sure, there would be a big period of uncertainty and restructuring, which would hamper any kind of response, which is still something Putin would love to see.

As for Greenland, most democrats and some republicans have option to hold NDAA up, leaving Trump Admin with no resource to sustain the US military in Greenland, so force Trump to pull the military and abandon the Greenland.

The US invasion of Greenland would be point of no return with diplomatic relations for most EU countries, so EU countries and their allies could switch their side to China to isolate the US, so expand the opportunity for China to do military buildup against on the US.

It is easiest option for Trump to make a deal with Denmark and Greenland for mineral rights and new base instead of illegal annexation.

Congress at the moment is a babysitting board who we pay over two billion a year in salaries and expenses. And they're the kind of babysitter who sits on their phone in the corner.

Greenland isn’t a NATO member. There’s a NATO base there, but only by agreement, which can easily be revoked by Trump without the blessing of NATO. Greenland are covered by Article 5, but Trump can object to NATO involvement, which breaks consensus, effectively blocking it, When Denmark say any move on Greenland would destroy NATO, they’re correct. Putin would love it.

Wow, it just hit me. What if every other country starts sanctioning us like we sanctioned Russia? I know the US is a much bigger, essential market for businesses, but I can't say it's impossible. Nothing's impossible anymore.
