Version: 1.0
PCSX2 wiki: https://wiki.pcsx2.net/Uchuu_Keiji_Tamashii:_The_Space_Sheriff_Spirits

Install:
  • Download the latest Pcsx2 nightly build.
  • Extract the folder to the pcsx2 texture folder (...\Pcsx2\textures\SLUS-25649\replacements) (SSD Recommend)
  • Config / Graphics Settings / Advanced tab:
    Load Texture: ON
    Async Texture Loading: ON

Progress: 100%
  • Most dump-able japanese texts + UI have been upscaled and translated to English (except credits text during staff roll cutscene)
  • Optional Xbox Buttons texture are included, just paste the xbox_buttons folder into the replacements folder and delete ps_buttons folder (PS Buttons is default)
  • The pack is made with PNG mix with DDS (for TV scene cut-in to improve performance when loading due to high resolution)

It's necessary settings to remove buggy overlay of the game

It is very rare especially PS2 era that there's a game I've never heard of. Maybe I'll look into it.

It's a Japanese game based on an old school Tokusatsu TV series so it's expected that it's not widely known. This game is a very niche one as it aims to reproduce the TV series scene faithfully in game form for Tokusatsu fans so the gameplay is not really amazing. Since this game is very short, I choose to make it as a warm up to test Nano Banana Pro in my HD upscaling workflow before I try in a longer game.
