Console bans, historically, happen because you're using software that Nintendo doesn't approve of on it, or running software you don't own. Custom Firmware and piracy, basically.haha. i dont want my switch 2 to get banned. thats why im asking if anyone tried it here doing the same thing. just want to know before doing it
The risk of getting banned because of traded Pokemon is next to none. Genned and illegal Pokemon are traded all the time over WiFi trades and even HOME, Nintendo aren't about to go banning people for it because there would be a lot of false positives.
As further anecdotal evidence: my Switch is banned. It's an unpatched Switch and I was careless when first installing CFW, got hit pretty quickly with the ban. My Nintendo account which was in use on that Switch is also logged in on my wife's Switch and my Switch 2. Neither of the latter two devices have been banned, despite Nintendo pretty clearly knowing I possess a modified Switch that they have previously actioned.
If Nintendo were planning console bans for something as mundane as using Pokemon that come from a hacked Switch, I would imagine that they would issue console bans for other things too, such as accounts associated with hacked Switches being logged in on other devices.
I've been trading Pokemon between my ZA save on my Switch and my save on my Switch 2, and I'm not really concerned about it. If the Pokemon you're trading are fully legit, I would say you have no worries. If you've been using generation or forced shiny codes, just don't use those Pokemon in online play, don't trade them online, don't try to upload them to HOME and don't take them to official events.
