Why does a texture pack get a DMCA notice from Germany? I've never seen textures receive a notice like that.
Probably a firm nintendo is using. Since the mod technically includes copyrighted files as it seems like they are AI upscales of the original game textures, which would be property of nintendo tm

That makes sense, I was more thinking custom texture edits and not Ai Upscales. Damn, that sucks though.

Custom texture edits... You do realize the game only released a few days ago, right?

Do you have any idea how much work goes into a single manual texture upscale, let alone a full texture pack? I've seen texture upscale projects that started with AI upscaled images, and it still took over 20 people working together almost 6 months to do the manual editing on everything to get it looking good.

There was never any question that this was an AI upscale.

That's not what I said. I said I didn't realize past custom texture packs weren't DMCA'd because they were custom and not just AI upscaled. I never questioned, if it was AI nor implied it was custom. You misunderstood my comment.

Awesome work as usual! Been using your texture packs for years!
Also for everyone asking, you can edit the title screen with the Switch Toolbox. Just go into the ui folder and open 'title_menu_00.arc.' Then in the 'blyt' dropdown, open 'title_menu_00.bflyt' and in the texture list you should be able to export/replace 'grptext_title_logo_00^u.dds' with the english logo.

How do we find the original title menu in the first place to replace the edited one? I did everything you said and I'm at the part where I found the "grptext_title_logo_00^u.dds" with the two options "Export" and "Replace" but I don't know where to find the original title screen to swap it.

Edit: I fixed the title screen by just opening the HD mod folder -> romfs -> ui -> data -> title_menu folder and renaming the "title_menu_00_eng.arc" to "title_menu_00.arc" and the original "edited" title screen file to "title_menu_00_eng.arc" (just have the two files named after the other/swap names so the "eng" is now the default one). No Switch Toolbox needed

Here's a ui folder replacement for anyone who already has the 4K mod downloaded and don't wanna edit/modify the Title Menu files manually. Just add the folder inside the "romfs" folder and replace the UI folder.

I just downloaded the logo from google images btw in case you were curious. Sorry for the late response, glad you found an easier way though!

Got a black screen/loading pokeball symbol on Switch v1 after finishing Rank Battle X while using the HD textures. I temporarily rename the romfs folder to something else to disable the mod and the cutscenes after the rank battle work. (I had to replay the battle of course). So yeah that was the problem. Not sure if anyone else got a similar problem. Hope it can be fix.

Personally I can't test this on an actual Switch, but I was able to test this part on an emulator (Ryujinx Canary 1.3.185) and so far no black screen at all using the HD mod.
Will need to see if someone else can test this to see if they can get the same issue to occur. Also, you could test to see if you can replicate the issue and/or see if it occurs earlier than the Rank X task

I did a Rank Battle but it's for W and had no problems. Just want to put it out there.

I'm going to enable the mod later today and see if I can do this one, since it is the next one. Hopefully nothing wrong happens, thanks for the feedback.
