Did you get mods to work? I've only managed to get voice mods to work on Switch, and they don't use the "~mods" folder like Brothership or Dragon Ball FighterZ do.

Also, is there a way to just....unlock Ichiban and Joker with the save file? I just got done getting all red rings and would love to not have to do it again.
They haven't been released yet, as far as I know.

Sorry for double post, but I ran into an issue with the PC save file for Ichiban and Joker: I got the characters, but their vehicles are locked. Not only that, but now Miku's Extreme Gear is locked as well.

Does anyone else have this issue?

Same issue, but at least the characters are unlocked;)
 
The solution is LayeredFS; fully modded Pak mods would be replaced, as is done for Mario Kart8 ,DB Z , Taiko no Takijin...

Sonic_Racing_CrossWorlds_v1.12_Switch_Graphics_Mod_27.09.2025.rar is a good exemple; it's a .pak... and without going through /~mods/

However, it consumes a lot of disk space if you replace a complete Pak. We'll see if we can add additional ones.....

3440x1440 Ultrawide Adjusted HUD V1.12

I agree it's not the best idea, but modding is more complicated on Switch than on PC, especially games with the Unreal Engine, where you have UT Unlocker, all the modding tools, etc.
So it requires adapting them to Switch...

Even with LayeredFS, most mods don't seem to work. Do you happen to know why? It's rather strange because they are just ignored by the game rather than create issues, such as crashing.
 
I downloaded a save file for the PC version, deleted the .sav file from the end of the file, replaced it in the Switch emulator, and the game loaded the save file normally. Could you share this save file?

Use JKSV, it will find it for you. Save files are stored within the Switch's memory itself, so you can't really locate it without a program that handles save files. like JKSV.

Here are all the saves in JKSV format .

DOCKY99 - 100% save_Miku_only_unlocked.zip : Save 100% unlock with miu ( but not joker and ichiban)
DOCKY99 - Miku_joker_and_ichiban_unlocked.zip: Save 1% :creep: with Miku joker and ichiban unlocked
DOCKY99 - Unlock_miku.zip ; 40% (all track) :creep: with Miku unlocked

Transfer them to /JKSV/Sonic Racing CrossWorlds/
then launch JKSV to restore the save .
