Not sure how this one fell under my radar for the past couple days. I mean, is there anything worse than a rich guy on TV saying to kill off poor homeless people? He later apologized for his comments, but it was less of an apology and more of a 'Well, not ALL homeless people have mental issues and lash out'. Which still leaves room for his apology to mean, some homeless people need to be killed.

It's crazy that in this world, some people are fired for merely quoting things Charlie Kirk actually said. This guy directly calls for homeless people to be held down and injected with poison with the intent to kill them, and still has a job. Not to beat a dead horse too much here, but once again, this is literally what the Nazi's did with the homeless people they deemed "socially or racially undesirable".

In just a couple days, they have websites to try and get people fired for daring to question Kirk's character. This guy lays it right out on the table and says he wants to kill people, and he'll be in the office tomorrow.

There WAS some pushback by people when they heard that, and that's what prompted the half-assed apology. But the show must go on!

This is an interesting codephrase for "openly supporting more political violence against anyone who they can't prove wrong".
But these magic words don't work anymore. You're not being hunted for dissent, you're being hunted for trying to hunt the rest of us for our dissent. Simple as that. Violence used to prevent political violence is not itself political violence, and it never will be. And no, helping trans people detransition is not "murder", even if you only consider them alive as long as they're useful to you.

Charlie Kirk had been proven wrong extensively, he wouldn't admit it because it's his revenue stream.

Lying for money, while oppressing vulnerable people, like Kirk wanted to do, is exactly what the Nazi's did. The fact he looks good in a photo opportunity doesn't change that. Unfortunately the only way we got rid of the Nazi's last time was to kill a load of them.

It's interesting times. Either we find some way to deal with the far right mind virus, or we go through the same process as last time.

But the far rights blind devotion to their flawed ideology is removing many options.

As he supported school shootings & the death penalty (including having children watching executions), I find the faux outrage over his death to be quite surprising. You preach death, you get death.

How is that inciting violence? It's definitely pointing out the irony of the situation. It's also pointing out that he wasn't really a good person. You just don't like what he said, so you rage-out. Quit being tribal.

He starts talking about Covid at about 2:15 and the Biden admin pressuring them starts around 4:00. Also check around 7:35 or so, through to 9:00. There were consequences when they didn't fully cooperate.
