The listening orbs (those obtained by Badeaux) are in the essential items. No item cheat allows you to keep or recover them. You would have to make one to recover or keep the items after use to recruit the other 2 monsters.

example.

for the listening orbs so that they can be used 4 times instead of 2 to recruit the 4 monsters in the game
