wait. Is there a way to edit my usercheat.dat file to add the analog patch codes? I have deadskullzjr cheat database but I don't think the cheat database codes are in the analog patch file

I actually develop and test my mods on Desmume, it has pretty nice scripting capabilities with Lua. The problem is that I don't think there is a way to read an input from an analog stick of an actual gamepad
The Windows version of DeSmuME does support reading controller inputs in Lua using the "controller.get(id)" function, with id being optional. Axes are x, y, u, r, and z. Dpad is up, down, left right. Buttons are accessed as keys "1", "2", and so on.

I stumbled across this thread and decided myself to see how difficult it would be to use these in DeSmuME and it was shockingly simple. Just had to modify the python AR generator code to comment out any arm7 stuff and write up a super simple Lua script to place controller data at the right address.

Really neat patches you have here.

I know that twilight menú has all patches already but those are streched, i use extra patches to get a better imagen of the Game, in that usercheat.dat, theres are many games without the widescreen patch, some games have (like Rayman ds, Pokémon bw 1 and 2, Mario kart ds)
So you cant tell which one are not implemented?

Hey I was wondering if there might be a way to make gta ctw more similar to psp, such as mapping throwables to L+Cstick and mapping camera re-enter to dpad up, not a deal killer that it's not already like that but it would be cool

hello, i was playing fighting fantasy the warlock of firetop mountain on new 3ds with these patches that allows you to move camera with cstick, nice dual analog feel, but theres a thing in a game itself that in order to use additional spellls or drink potions you have to press icons on a lower screen that might not be that comfortable to do especially mid fights, ive seen some patches for metroid prime hunters allows to transform into the ball by pressing zl or zr buttons, but in original game you had to press icon on a screen, just like in fighting fantasy, so is there a way to set those slot 1 and slot 2 to the zl and zr buttons?

I kinda want to add C.O.R.E. to use cstick as camera, is there any way the stylus be mapped as c stick??

Im wondering if theres a way we could get the option for Circle Pad Pro inputs in the tick box config! i have a o3ds and n3ds, but love the feeling more of the o3ds + cpp!

Here is the same cheat code except with the dpad support, but it should be the same as the old dpad cheatcode except for barrel rolls.
If you're playing on an emulator, I think you can use something like `autohotkey` to map keyboard buttons to the touchscreen of your emulator
Re: starfox command, Do these codes work on an phat DS or does it have to be 3ds? I tried them on my phat using TWM++, and unless I did something wrong d-pad control didn't seem to work

It doesn't work when you use those n3ds settings?
I dont believe so as the Circle Pad Pro inputs are read differently from the Cstick inputs.

I imagine for games like Metroid Prime Hunters and Mario 64 DS it would be more comfortable on an o3DS with CPP so thats why im asking.

I know it was never a hugely popular product, but it would be cool to have the option

Id be happy to help get the input data if i can be shown how to

Hello there! So I've been playing metroid prime hunters recently and wanted to try my own little weird control scheme so it played more comfortably for me so I tried to use the SM64DS Remap AR code generator to create a cheat code , put it in the usrcheat.dat and run but it always crash the game . I knew it probably wouldn't work when it asked me which SM64 DS game version I had but I thought it was worth a shot

If anyone knows a way to remap buttons on non SM64 DS games it would be of great help <3

Try the generic remapper: https://shocoman.github.io/3ds_nds_remap_codegen/

It's listed in the OP too. You will know you have the right one as it just lists the buttons you want things to act as, instead of actions (Attack, Jump &c.) as in the picture you sent.

It is definitely compatible with MPH, as I made up a specific remap for someone who wasn't experienced with R4CCE. You can search in this thread for 'metroid' and maybe someone has already made the setup you want.

I want to set my own controls for Prime Hunters. I want to make certain buttons correspond to points on the touch screen. I don't know how and the remapper that you linked to in this thread can't set any button to the touch screen.
