Hello! this is my first time installing the picofly. In my oppinion everything looks good with the soldering, but after connecting the Nand, and trying to boot, the picofly led flashed blue, then green.

And i'm getting a blue screen .

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Are you sure? I doubt it from what the picture shown
well, I thought I just needed to avoid bridging two capacitors but looks like I was wrong :/. Hope I can desolder the flex without breaking the capacitors to clean everything an solder again

ok so I desoldered the flex cable, cleaned everything and reinstalled the nand on the board. but I'm still getting the BSOD. IS there anything else to try? or the switch is 100% dead?

you might need to check few other spots as well where you prying up the metal shield with your sharp tool/tweezer

Oh! you are right. Thanks for looking into this. Is that fixable?

I cleaned that part with IPA and it looks like it was just cotton.

There seems to be a minor scratch in the track, it's the only one I found, do you think it's too bad?

Last edited by camui,
CANT really tell from such angle view, you need to title the board and see if the trace got just scratch or cut off.
FYI not sure if there is a dent or just some dirt on top of the max77621 buck ic
