Misc 3DS Flashlight/White Screen App? Unable to Find

Hello all. I’ve been scouring forums and Universal Updater looking for something I was certain would be easily found — just a basic, simple “Flashlight” app for the 3DS that does nothing more than turn both top/bottom screens all white with max brightness. I’m only a few months into the modding world but this flashflight app has been the only thing I couldn’t track down.

The old Flashlight app that used to be sold in the eShop obviously can’t be accessed. I came across an old “3DSFLASH” app on a gbatemp thread made by Joel16 back in 2017, but all the links there are dead GitHub links (I’d link it but newcomer posting rules).

Am I missing something super obvious here or does a basic flashlight app/white screen app just not exist due to lack of demand for the 3DS? Thank you in advance for any help and/or guidance.

what makes you think that a new thread outside of the actual one will help you this faster? im sure the flashlight on the 3ds is bad, there are plenty for cellphones which can do a much better job, and is quicker to get active than a 3ds

I was simply hoping to cast a wider net with a new thread than an older/dead one that may not get many eyes on it, that’s all. The desire for the app is about the dual all-white screen background that I’d like to have vs. practical application.
