You used college students as the example, they literally have all the time in the world to do whatever
Hi. College student here.
Since I've been in college, I've had to sideline most of my hobbies and interests to focus on my studies. I work 20-25 hours a week to pay for my tuition, I'm thousands of dollars in debt, and probably spend an average of sixty hours a week in class, in lab, and doing homework and other schoolwork. I recently took a day trip to go caving. It was tons of fun, but it took two weeks of advance planning and weighing my options to take the trip. I have several books on my shelf I've been meaning to read. There's a trail outside of town I want to try before the weather gets bad. And I really want to try the new Call of Duty game that just came out... but I barely have any time for myself. College is a full-time commitment. And I am dead fucking serious when I say that.
I’m a guy, what

THAT SOUNDED SO SEXIST IM SO SORRY
I meant the votes that really count since I’m in a swing state, idiot
Well he’s the only one getting the real votes and I want my first election to count, especially now since I’m in a swing state
Respectfully. Ew

And with immature and incredibly disrespectful comments like this, it's no wonder you aren't looked at favorably here. Political disagreement and dissonance is fine. Insults and childish jokes are not. Say what you'd like, but you can't insult someone's viewpoint for the sake of insulting them and then turn around and ask to be friends.
Take a break from the screens, kid. Or, at least, read what you write before you hit "post".
I am not, however, at all surprised that you're a profound supporter of Donald Trump. Not surprised in the least.

That’s why college is a scam nowadays, that’s really sad, mate, best of luck to you, honest ✋ Go succeed and 🎶 never never never give up, even though the journey’s tough 🎶

That’s okay, everyone expected I be the goofy goober here when my first words in this thread was “Hi I’m an idiot who don’t know how this works”

I say no offense to most of them, and whenever I actually do make a valid point, you get someone like Optimus Prime to “win” by saying shut the fuck up, so like they’re not much better, besides it’s not taken 100% seriously from both of us, and someone get into a mutual agreement in the end. You weren’t there because I never met you in life

Eh, you spent like 15 minutes writing this long speech when you claim you struggle with some much work

I was raised by republicans for some reason, just never felt like taking the effort to switch to a whole different viewpoint of a party

I was raised by Republicans, but that doesn't mean I had to stick with them, especially after seeing just how shit Trump was/is.
Again, gonna be hard to switch to entirely new perspectives when I was told to be against them for my entire life, it ain’t that simple

Isn't it nice to be that privileged and comfortable in life
What??? You think just because I was raised by republicans means I have a healthy life? Jeez you really don’t know about me

My upbringing scenario was heavily Republican + religious. Literally on the edge of cult territory, if not in it, where Democrat is bad and Republican is good "because". It wasn't until around 2017 where I was seeing how dumbshit Trump was, granting me some reflection time of how policies of what Republicans and Democrats had done, both now and in the past. Then all it took was the continued push of problems by Republicans to show there was nothing for me with them.

But honestly, you don't have to turn Democrat to be opposed to Trump. You can think about it like this. A vote for Harris is a vote towards another chance in 4 years.

That’s a good story, and what’s crazy is that I hadn’t voted yet, I’ll gladly take your word for it, mate 🤝

One wishes this was fake..... but.....

Idk I was a college student once upon a time too and honestly I spent most of the time doing whatever I want

That is the first couple years, senior year was like so much work it was insane

Although as a biology major it wasn't too bad

Well chuds this is it

Final day of polling, Trump ahead in NV, AZ, NC and GA

Harris ahead in MI and WI

PA tied

Whichever way PA breaks will decide the election, we'll see how razor thin it really ends up being

Musk: the government has too much bureaucracy, too many departments, too many jobs that exist on paper but don't do anything

People: how will you fix it?

Musk: I will create a whole new cabinet-level department to cut undefined government inefficiency

People: ???

The Civil War won't be like on the 1800s, it'll be isolated pockets of violence across the entire nation. It won't be organized.

I know the "majority" of Trump voters probably won't get violent, but a sizable portion of them genuinely believe that if they have to slaughter people in order to "save" this country, they'll do it. And for people voting blue in red states and red neighborhoods, they will not be able to sleep peacefully regardless of how small the minority would be, because you have no idea where it would come from.
So I guess those commercials where they tell people that they can secretly vote for Harris if all their friends are MAGA makes perfect sense now. Vote for her secretly if you fear for your life.
