That's not an unpopular opinion.
Every guide I can find on some semi obscure topic is a video guide.

It's extra bad when they get deleted.

Yeah but nobody likes that.
The only reason all content became videos instead of articles a decade ago is that it's harder for aggregate websites to just copy and paste stuff, unlike text.

i think 100 percenting a game is a bad/stupid idea. replayability adds value to a purchase, and knowing you have not seen everything the game has to offer plays a role in you wanting to pick it up again. there is also a hint of OCD in wanting to collect EVERYTHING. videogames are supposed to be fun, the moment they start feeling like a chore, put'em down, go for a jog or something.

'Castlevania, Aria of Sorrow' is one of my favorite games ever. And no, i have not 100 percented it yet. i played through it a few times, and the moment it ends, back on the shelf it goes.

I heard dk 64 is the worst game regarding that

Why would I ban you?
yeah, that was a joke. some folks practically worship dk64. i never saw the appeal. unrelated, usually i prefer substance over style, but i still like conker's bad fur day over the 'real' 3d platformers of n64

Here's an unpopular opinion. People who refer to video guides don't know on what they're doing. Even if it's a guide from 5 or so years ago, and that it involves something risky like modifying system files, then they should be responsible for what they do if they brick their console instead of following a text guide.

I can agree with that. My issue with video guides is that I have to rewind 13 billion times to follow along with the guide.

Plus, video became the new medium when YouTube blew up. I don't follow this specific person's content, but DarkViperAU on YouTube did a video covering the videos being uploaded to YouTube based on category. Music, video games and private sharing videos are quite high.
